i feel like he tends to stick to the more traditional military used mres all over the world, rather than these. steve always says who uses the mres in the beginning. this mre looks like an mre made for people especially for stickygingaz, as in ripped apart several US mres picked out the best items and then resealed them in this "custom" mre pouch

Definitely needs more beverages. Also, a second element for the frh so both meals can be warm. Makes no sense having two meals and only one frh. That is a ton of food tho.
I’ve seen resusable FRHs been used in Europe.. wish we had them here
and no condiments or at least a second cheese bread to enjoy an actual hamburger

I was pleasantly surprised to see it had the option for 4k. Not a lot of smaller channels do that and it really shows you care about your videos. Everything I've seen from you has an awesome production value. I'm surprised to see you don't have more subs because you definitely deserve more. Keep doing what you're doing :)

Great review Sticky. I tried the double main ProspectorMRE. It was pretty darn good. Almost the same one you have here. It had the chili and hamburger pattie. You have one of the best channels out there buddy. Cheesey buddy, can't go wrong with that Lol. Excellent job my friend.

This meal looks really good, but I think you should really put more attention on listing nutritional information on your website. It'd be nice if you listed a more specific calorie content for each menu rather than the generic "2600-3000" for all of them, since you've already gone through the trouble of separating them and listing the individual components.
I've also noticed some meals (e.g. regular non motherlode prospector, the zombie ones, etc) don't mention the caloric content at all, which is fine if you're just buying it for the novelty factor, but it's likely unacceptable for someone thinking about actually buying them as an emergency food store...

The MRE concept has definitely branched out these days lol, everything from zombie rations to now a gold prospectors ration. It is very interesting at the components, it had foods that you could expect gold miners to eat, chili with beans, burgers, and granola cereal lol. I agree with you the whole ration is very lacking in the drink department, only giving you one small vitamin c drink, and one coffee in a 24 hr period isn’t enough. It should have three vitamin drinks, and two coffees with creams, and sugar, but the honey would work for sweetness, but they only gave one small sashay of honey. It should’ve had one big pack of honey, honey is so versatile you need it for coffee for the cornbread and for the cereal. Honey never goes bad so it’s perfect for a long storage ration.

Well I know one thing thay mylar bag will give away you gold camp with it's loud crunching lol.
Really like that the FRH comes with it's own activating liquid insted of using water from you stores.
I liked that ration so much I went to thier site and built my own one. I like the fact you can build your own. Great video and thanks for puting me on to them.

Should have put your cornbread in with the chili to get nice n warm. A great addition to the chili. Figured the bread was to make a cheeseburger. Would love to try all the extreme rations like this

when you get this ration, you might want to select the option for a 2nd flameless ration heater so you can heat both the burger and the chili without having to heat both meals at the same time. looks great this mre and the other mres on their website look awesome too.

After noticing you pulling out the heating element fro the FRH You could have used to both the front and back sides of the FRH heater to warm your chili and burger etc. When using the U.S. cardboard holders I even add the coffee bag included. These things stay hot for quite a while/ if not just add a little more water and shake well. Just a tip.

ah the heating element that makes all the magic. i prefer the morale boost from the esbit stove and and an actual flame. maybe just me. always a good video sticky. just prefer my mre vids to actually use esbit stove. i know im crazy. but when i think of mre's i think of the bastogne episode of band of brothers.

Christ how many people is this meant to feed? A normal MRE can be rationed out for an entire day. This thing could feed a squad for a day
I get the feeling that this ration was designed to be 2 big meals with snacks in between. Breakfast with the cereal and the cobbler over the cookie. Lunch being some of the first strike bars and Slim Jims. Dinner being the cornbread, the wheat snack bread the chili, and the burger all added together.
It’s possible.. with these LEGO rations you really cant go wrong

I love how you picked chili as the lunch. Chili, if you make it right, is damn near a complete food, great for lunch in the field. Protein? In spades, beef, also pork in my case (breakfast sausage in chili is just the tits) and beans (chili without beans is just...meat sauce). Fiber? Yup. Carbs? Also yes, just add some rice. Salt/sodium? Well, you want it to taste good.
I love chilli and i eat spicy food everyday, but if i was a soldier i would stay out of it because i get acid reflux later, i have to use baking soda, milk or pills to reduce it.

That is one meal? There must 3k calories in that thing, mostly sugar. I stand corrected, it’s a sugar loaded alleged 24 hour pack. I am not crazy about the whole Euro no main mail for breakfast trend...a lot of gas station snack food in there too....
