Thanks so much for this! I changed out our old Ventline exhaust fan in our mobile home laundry room that we didn't know was a fan! We thought the third switch on the wall just led to nothing 😂 There was a massive bird nest in the tube too with dead birds and eggs! 😮 The only fan replacement kit local to buy (didn't want to wait for Amazon) was at Lowes for a Broan model, but I made it work! The hex nuts on the old model were bigger so I wrapped the bolts with Teflon tape to make it stay tight. Fan is running like a dream now! Now our laundry room won't steam up all winter! You're the best! 🎉

I thought I saw a fan blade still in the box, wouldn't one be for CW and one for CCW rotations?

Hello @asegal0000. Thank goodness that the new fan motor was spinning CW like the original old motor. And yes the two blades that were included in the kit were for CW (Updraft) and CCW (Downdraft) but, I needed a CW rotating blade for this VENTLINE Extractor Fan and the included CW blade was simply too small and would not be very efficient in the original housing. The tape and SuperGlue hack to secure the original blade to new motor seems to work, I have replaced two fan motors in my home and reused the original fan blades using this hack. So far so good. Should last another 15+ years.

The original fan blade looks like the one you would find in an older pre 2000s Broan range hood.

The home was built in 2006 so this is most likely from the early 2000s. The Manufacturer's Info Label shows the Model Number as V2262-50 and grill has the VENTLINE brand name molded onto it. Replacement motor works great.
