When new hot point stove will not spice the ground to the neutral. It says it's a bad line. So it actually has a fail-safe so you won't burn the house down. You have to have the right harness. And this is probably going on with all new stoves. Ok there's no way around it. Thank you ross
My question is with the ground cable… the old 1 was 3 prong and the ground was separate from the cord so when I took it off it didn’t come off with the cord but the new 1 .. when I remove the cord to place old cord on, the ground is part of the cord. If that makes sense
The one with a white line on it is the neutral. It doesn’t matter if you mix the other two wires up, it still delivers power. Just make sure the neutral is where the neutral goes and not to mix up with the hots.

The 3 prong is, you know, in the middle. The right and left are both hot. The one in the middle is neutral. But how do you ground it out? You're moving too fast. You do it every day.
