I know of a driver couple, who live in a nearby village to mine. Both drive the long chassis trucks. From Gobichettipalayam to as far as Dehra Dun, Darjeeling, Panipat and so on.
They own the vehicle and take turns. They say, each round trip takes anywhere from 21 to 35 days.
