glory dayz, big names, sick lines what happened to bmx?
Everyone got obsessed with making light, weak bikes instead of tanks, bars got HUGE, seats got low, free coasters got popular. They're basically scooters with cranks now. Kids ridicule anyone for having more than half an inch of seat post showing, riding brakes for street, riding pegs at the park, having a gyro. It's all turned into one big pile of unwritten rules that 90% of people think they have to stick to. Kids get bikes, pull the brakes off straight away, nearly kill themselves, and quit because God forbid, they ride with brakes, it's just not trendy enough.
im only just getting back into bmx now, its so sad how the early 2000s made bmx so awesome and its in the state it is in now. im just glad there are alot of people still into mid school stuff!
big bars make sense as i get into my 30s less strain on the lower back
Jamie Bales, You hit the nail right on the head with that statement right there. I thought i was the only one out there who thought like that too about BMX these days. I grew up riding in the mid 90's and to see how the sport has gone down the drain really sucks. Bikes back then had style and they actually had a seat post and not a weird tiny sprocket and the bars didn't all look the same and not to mention these stupid big fat tires and tiny rims. Ugh i could ramble on and on...
@@jamiebales8394 I'm midschool. I still ride my seat as high as my crossbar and four pegs. No brakes though because I always rode without them ever since my first bike. Just got tired of messing with them
Good times

what year was roadfools 10?
at the end of the credits copyright says 2002 should be of those years
Yeah it was like 2000 through 2002 cuz I bought it my freshman year of high school it was the first bmx DVD I ever purchased. Every other bike video I had before that was VHS
