- In this video I showcase some of the brightest flashlights in my collection.

Regarding the Marauder 2's proximity auto-dimming... It can be turned off (or back on) by turning on the light, then (with the light on) quickly pressing the button 15 times. After the first 3 presses, the light will go into strobe mode. Keep going; when you hit 15, the light should turn off, provided that you made the 15 presses quickly enough. Each time you do this, the auto-dimming will be toggled on or off.
You can also adjust the proximity distance (slightly) by turning the light on, then off, then triple-press the button, holding the last press for about 5 seconds, until the "brightness" indicators flash. Repeating this procedure will toggle the proximity distance between a little closer and a little farther. It's not much of a difference, though.
Also, there is direct access to low, turbo, and strobe: rotate the button to unlock the light. Then press and hold the button for about 2 seconds for 200 lumen low mode. Double click the button to go directly to turbo. Triple click the button to go directly to strobe.
The olight auto dimming stops you setting fire to your backpack too. When in use I believe a double click just after it dims will override it

we've come a LONG way from the everyday lantern battery lights, the orange plastic torch lights and even the mag lights. i had all the mag lights 30 year ago. including the massive 6-cell D baseball lights.
weird infatuation with lights. my 75 yo dad has no idea how far flash lights have come. ..and i think the falcon x1 will surely blow his mind lol

just picked up the rovy e200s. I like their UI better than Wuben (I have their 500 lumen flat keychain light) but their X series is out of this world with innovation so i had to get the falcon.
The Rovy A3 keychain UI is easy to use thus the reason my EDC is the e200s and not the x2. Do wish rovyvon would get a better website and straighten out the confusion with their model line up.
I really like the wuben x2, but the UI is strange compared to to the rovyvon and the wuben's sharpness of the body seems threatening in the pocket. tho the x1 is way bigger and not a pocket light, since it has the active cooling and a larger capacity, i thought i could make the compromise. lol. i gotta stop spending money on these things
