Corry surely did a great a job. I didn't realize until now that the melody is so difficult. How do you do that when writing a song, first the lyrics then the melody, or somehow simultaneously? Just curious.
I can't speak for Noah but when I write I usually write the lyrics first but keep in mind a certain rhythm, so I can fit them to a meter and such, and then I'll sing/create the melody of the lyrics after I've got the chords and stuff down
No me tooo😂I’m also American so I try to imitate the accent and fail miserably most times😭 but yeah This helped me get the grasp. I absolutely love how difficult it is tbh

That note that Corry is struggling with at around the 4 min mark is a semitone. Which basically means there’s the same gap between the notes as in the jaws theme. Think of the jaws theme and it can help to get it
Honestly I always feel like Corry when I sing along to Noah because of the jumps so just hearing Noah break down the song to correct my mistakes is EVERYTHING 😭 thank you Noah and Corry for giving me more confidence singing along to this song😂honestly though I’m American and want to sound EXACTLY like Noah and his accent comes out sometimes so I just know thats a huge part in it lmao

I think Corry did well with one not getting discouraged and quitting, and was able to nail it, and Noah did very well with vocal coaching and encouragement. This was a delightful and wholesome video, also singed/yelled out on certain parts 🤣

I think Corry's natural speaking voice is a little nasal so he probably just a natural resonance placement of more in his face, that's probably why he kept singing from his throat more.
It was a really good effort from both of you! The finished product sounds effortless, and watching this shows it wasnt effortless, so it just goes to show how well it was produced and how hard you both worked on it!

I love how thorough Noah is in getting Corry to sound exactly the same pitch. He didn't skimp on anything. Excited to hear the results on Corry's channel. This video made me feel inspired and more confident about developing my own singing voice, hearing someone start from apparently not being able to sing like Corry, gradually unfurling and blossoming in his own way.
