I turned 60 this year - got to see Chelsea Wolfe live for the first time - there's still hope I might get to see Anna... yeah yeah... I can dream...

Anna von Hausswolff has an old soul and the depths that her music reaches are majestic. Just discovered her music and ever so thankful.
Her voice is absolutely unreal
The kind of a CZcams video that makes oneself envy those who claim to have experienced it live...
There's no doubt in my mind that this is her best track to date. The album version is dark as it is but damn it's just an experience to see and hear this live!

I discovered Anna when her concerts in France and Belgium were disturbed (and even cancelled) by catholic extremists. They appparently can't read and understand a metaphor... I'm so happy to know her and her music now. It resonates in me as much as does Dead Can Dance's one. I agree with one of the comments below, she is very good and could be compared to Lisa. I now need to see her live, I have all the albums now :)

Big post rock masterpiece! Never thought that Anna could be THAT amazing live. This reminds me of the best from let's say Godspeed You black Emperor and Sigur Ros - without beeing a copy AT ALL!

Magnificent Anna may be unaware, but her live show can be - it was to me - a more-than-cathartic, transformative experience, in a way only Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave or a great Bach concert can be. I can only hope she and her bandmates do not stop what they do.
NisiMvsica exactly. And Nick Cave seems to agree. Saw a photo of them laughing together after the Montreux festival. I think she opend for him but not sure.

I experienced total catharsis at their concert in norwegian church. I cried all the time.
I'd add Mozart's Requiem, esp. Dies Irae. But you are so correct.

I'm so glad I found her. One of the most amazing singers in history!! And so captivatingly unique!!
She just keeps getting,better and the band as evolved so much , constantly pushing these amazing sound scapes to even higher places , with no fears of changing the songs pace or style, Live they are in the top five live bands to see including an legends from the past. Anna's energy seems just drive the band to higher and higher levels and she is such a tiny person you wonder were it all come from amazing and truly up their with the likes of Lisa Gerrard , Kate Bush , Deimada Galas with her vocal range and creative talents , I hope she can finally get tour the USA , has I think she will be a massive hit their , so far we have been spoiled in Europe with her and her Bands spell binding performances.

I witnessed the full majesty of this song in Bristol last year when she supported SunnO))). I went to the gig just to see Anna, and unsurprisingly, she wiped the floor with the headliners.
This is my favorite song off of her Dead Magic album! This song has such a devilish vibe to it that I love as well! 👌🏾😈😩 It’s absolutely incredible.

I saw 2 of the Sunn O))) gigs when they last toured the UK - Anna and band were supporting. Mesmerising. Normally a support band is a bit hit and miss….I couldn’t wait for Anna or Sunn O)))…..brilliant shows.

Saw her open for swans in 2014 and she just blew it out the park I was so captivated by the bands performance, I didn't even know of her until that point and I haven't looked back since, I really feel swans has influenced her for the better, such incredible music they manage to weave such tapestries without even words what Bob Dylan is too poets and lyricist's she is to ambience and acoustics, as is the great Micheal Gira I might add, what a beautiful performance this is what music is about.
Redux VI listen to the new Swans song from their upcoming album. Anna and her sister sings on that song. I hope they (or only Anna) will be on more songs on the upcoming album!

I saw this live at Roadburn Festival.... This show blew my mind, I stood there speechless.
Her set was incredible. The entire crowd in 013 were stunned into submission.

It was my second best of the year. And the most amazing thing... I don't know her!!! Went to the concert, not expcting nothing. Come out just blowned away. Love when that happens, not knowing a band and just be blowned by the music.

@@SteveKanterakiss I wouldn't say weak, unless someone is trying to escape problems and ive done that in the past and i was weak indeed. But otherwise, you can take some, marijuana or hash at least, to experience music, videos, films, games or a live jam with friends. It's really great and connects people on another level. If you play a video game while high, the experience is unbelievable. Instead of thinking of it as a game, the world becomes much more intense and you feel you're inside of it
