Nike to Whoops

Favorite bits from riding up Mandeville Fire Road to the Nike Missile site from Westridge Trailhead, down Canyonback to Kenter Whoops. More rattle/humming noise from my rear hub making its way through the frame to the camera, weirdly.
I did have a brief exchange with a dog owner early on, prime example of how entitled hikers are here in LA. Her dog was blocking a singletrack section and refused to move, even with her running over and trying to get her dog out of the way. This was my first time one this segment, I usually stay on the fireroad and didn't know where the little trail split went off to on the left.
MRCA (Santa Monica Mountain Recreational Authority) Rules literally state "Dogs must be kept on leash, under owner’s control, and cleaned up after." (mrca.ca.gov/rules/). If she wants to walk her dog off leash fine, but not 10 yards away.
