Your lemonade looks so refreshing... good enough to drink. Those details you talked about do make a difference. So now let's think.
What do people decorate for? Well, we start with New Years, then Valentine's Day, Oops... do I need to include Groundhog Day and Super Bowl Sunday? Both come before Valentine's Day. It continues with St. Patrick's Day, First day of Spring, The Easter and Passover season including Palm Sunday and Good Friday,
Easter Sunday, Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day,
Memorial Day and other Patriotic Red, White and Blue decor days ~ President's birthdays, Flag Day and Fourth of July. But before the Fourth comes the First Day of Summer. Then we're off again with Labor Day, the First Day of Fall, Halloween followed by Veteran's Day,
Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday,
Pearl Harbor Day, the First Day of Winter, then the BIG one, Christmas, then Kwanzaa and New Year's Eve. That a lot plus many I left out. And not all of these get decorated for by most and a lot use the Red, White and Blue theme - even more than I included within my list.
But here's the thing. Valentine's gets covered pretty well as does Spring and Easter. St. Patrick's Day gets a little, depending on where you live. But then it's Easter and Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day then Father's Day then we're right in to Independence Day then the Start of Fall. Both the Fourth and the arrival of Fall get done up big. Then .... the rest of the year. What happened to decorating for SUMMER? Spring's decor kinda fills in until the Fourth. But you, my friend, did not forget Summer! You embraced it in a BIG, and might I say, very creative, unusual and cute way. The Fourth gets wrapped up and considered summer. But it's not. It's the Fourth of July. You hit the nail on the head. Consider yourself in front of the pack and that you "dun yourself proud" in your summer creations. Between these signs and your picnic food you've got Summer covered. Now I gotta watch the next one to see what else you come up with.

The secret with Mod Podge is to use a tiny tiny tiny amount especially when using thing tissue paper. You just want to make your surface tacky not thick & really wet. Just smear a very thin layer on a small section of your surface then lay your tissue paper down, rubbing it flat as you lay it down just like you would with contact paper. If you use too much it will seep through the tissue paper causing it to wrinkle. You can also use a very thin layer, let it dry completely then put tissue paper down, place parchment paper over the tissue paper and iron over it slowly applying very little pressure. The heat makes the mod podge sticky again making it stick to the paper. It’s taken my years to really get it down packed lol😂

    Tips for Mod Podging...
    1. Put mod podge all over piece were u want to put napkin or scrapbooking paper. Let it dry fully. Then lay your napkin or paper were u want it then put a piece of parchment paper over your piece them iron it or use heat press.
    2. There is also a method where u take purple disappearing glue in place of mod podge.
    3. There is also one were u lay napkin were u want it. Then put saran wrap over top of that then lay parchment paper over that then iron or heat press that.
    4. The normal way ...Mod Podge in sections
    5. Then lastly when doing in sections u can smooth down your napkin, paper or fabric with Saran Wrap to ensure no wrinkles but if you get Mod Podge on it use different part of Saran Wrap or get another piece.
