    These are great! I watched your build videos too. I will definitely be building something similar soon.
    Question, how long does it take from start to finish to make a polished orb?

      It depends on the hardness of the stone and how well the stone is prepared. Sand stone can be done in a few hours and basalt can be done in a day or two. The harder the stone the longer the grind. The polishing part is fast. The grind takes all the time.

    Is there a problem if using a slightly faster rotation? Car power window motor?

      @@leandrodellarocha3204 the only problem I foresee is trying to keep the stone in the pocket while it is in it’s first grind stage. After it is rounded out, go as fast as is safe.

    I'm looking to build something like this and am trying to figure out motor specification. Would you be up for sharing any identifying details of the mirrors and gearboxes? It looks like the grinding heads are moving at about 120 rpm. I'm basically reverse engineering from that right now. Any additional details would be greatly appreciated.
