- It was a colorful display to start Monday morning in Philadelphia, courtesy of the Italian Air Force.
The famous Frecce Tricolori flew over the city in a 10-jet formation.
Magnificent... heard it first then saw it on second flyover right above me in Center City
Such precision in formation, when they go over the art museum, they cast their shadows on the Rocky steps as if they were running up those steps, and at the same time painted the airspace over the steps and museum with the tri colors of their flag, so artistic in execution. They knew they were in our city of Philadelphia🦅🇧🇬🏛️

Excellent video! They flew right over Bella Vista/ South Philly but I wasn't sure of what was going on. Thanks Channel 6abc Philadelphia for capturing and posting this video. They flew over Northampton Twp PA about 1050 11 am.

Yes, jet number 11 is piloted by the wing commander and is used for aerial photography and as a reserve aircraft.

Very disappointed in the reporting from Action News saying they were flying over Northeast Philly Airport. There were about 200 ppl there waited for an hour and no flyover!

Hope 6 see's this. Great show. Shame NE Philly saw squat. They were supposed to come down over the Far Northeast at 10 and head to the bridge. Nope. We barely seen them until around 10:45 heading in to Bucks county blowing out there remains of there colored smoke at twice the altitude. No jets were ever seen. Whose helo are you using and where is it based? 🤑

They're promoting their upcoming show in Maryland on their way down from their last show in NY, and Philly holds the 2nd largest population of Italian heritage in the country. Idk what's so offensive about it? They came to our country to provide us entertainment, and they're giving us a little extra at no charge in Philly!
