    How big are the cod you catch there? I keep catching high 20s blueys at boilers point wharf. I’ve also got a few over 33 and a 42cm fat one. It’s a shame because almost all them are just under size

    despite the weather, the location looked stunning lol haha barry the cuda always on the prowl XD instead of those long shank hooks i would prefer to use circle hooks: a lot easier to unhook and easy to hook up as well plus u dont need to strike as well. btw those were good sized blue cods

      Basic_Fishing using circle hooks are a waste of time, hate using them to be honest. J hooks are a go to for me.

    Hey Dylan. Is there any landbased spots for fishing in Dunedin? Trying to catch fish but not having any luck.

    • @FishingForeverFilms
      @FishingForeverFilms  Před 3 lety +1

      There’s loads, try around off the Aromoana Mole and around the Gun Turrots. This time of year you’ll get kahawai and blue cod with more species too

    There is a silver button on the left-hand side of that real quick it upwards when you're realing in it'll stop the annoying clicking sound .... and if it's legal stab it in the head kill it then remove the hook suffocating fish is the worst way to kill them
