I love seeing venom being all crazy and seeing them go after Spider-Man, but I really like this take of spider man trying to help venom and eddie and they actually listen and try to do better, I hope to see more of this in comics and movies
In comics, things seems to be solved between them even if Brock doesn’t completely share the same ethic rules that Peter Parker. Anyway, it is good to see that they create a game where there is better relationship between those two characters.

Peter and Eddie are on good terms, to the point that he trust Peter with his kid. Hell, he even calls him "Pete" and only his close friends call him by that.

Considering that there was barely any video games or even animated tv series where Eddie Brock/Venom was anything else except a threat ,a main or even a secondary villain since I have been born ( in 1997), it is incredibly REFRESHING to see a game with a Eddie Brock on the side of good. I don’t care what the public says, this a good video game adaptation that really explores the character’s evolution which is the reason of the comics’s success from years.

Is anyone gonna talk about how in this Marvel Universe, it seems that Eddie and Peter made up; that they both have reconciled their differences, and even the Symbiote seems to have silently acknowledge Parker's sympathy? Peter seems to be really supportive of any attempt Eddie makes at redemption, and the Symbiote no longer hunts him... all the time, anyways.
I'm sorry. Long time story-obsessed Dungeon Master here, and I just LOVE it when I see genuine character development! Hard to see it in Players these days, anyway...
it's like that in the comics too, been a few years now. During the Lee price stuff, red goblin, knull, etc, they made their peace
Peter wants everyone to get better. He even gives Norman chances. Eddie has only really started to get better recently. (After they stole all of Flash's character and stapled it onto him. )
Yeah, Venom's pretty much a full fledged hero at this point in the comics, sans the recent spidey event where he got mind controlled I believe
Venom itself can't help what it is: a symbiote made by a dark god-like creature to be a dangerous weapon. But when it joined with Peter, it felt something it never felt before and it was angry that something was snatched away. Then it found someone who had the exact same feelings: the want to be something more than what they are. Time and many hosts later, Venom has come into a lot of different experiences both good and bad, but with each host it grew a little more until it finally realized what it was Peter gave him: hope.
And isn't that what Spider-Man does for the world?

Love Yuri Lowenthal being back as a Spider-Man, but gotta say it’s also kinda weird having him be here. Not just because he’s not the PS4/Marvel’s Spider-Man but also because you’ve got Josh Keaton who also voiced Spidey in a lot more mediums (Spectacular, Shattered Dimensions, UMVC3) as Iron Man of all people.

This Venom design and Eddie's character development is absolutely perfect. I love the sinister demonic spidey hating Venom, but it's nice to get something a little different here. You can see there's still a hint of tension and uneasiness from Spider-Man. But Eddie seems to have let go of his hatred for Spider-Man and Peter. Even just the subtlety of Venom calling him Peter instead of insulting nicknames. 👌🏻

First time, I heard of Dracula being in a Marvel game was that slight teaser from ASM 2, where the Daily Bugle mentioned the Tomb of Dracula being open to the public for the first in the Natural History Museum...this is the first time I've seen him...kind of resembles his Castlevania incarnation from Smash Bros

Ever since the venom movies I'm really looking forward to seeing spiderman and venom fight together as heroes
We will someday, in the MCU. But starting with that tiny speck he accidentally left behind, go the classic route: Spidey damaged in Avengers 5 or 6, symbiote finds & bonds with him, gets rejected some time after & bonds with MCU Eddie Brock. Then enter relationship development from enemies to frenemies to allies.
It’s absolutely hilarious that any time I hear “we” i think of Venom. People hardly subjugate “We” rather then “i” any longer so the emphasis is always such a dynamic thing.

Seeing Venom's design and he actually web-swings like Spider-Man just makes me so happy. Idk why but recently Marvel seems to pivot Venom from being "Monster Spider-Man" who has all of Spider-Man's powers into just "Alien Hulk" who runs on all fours and is generally just a big animal.

The thing I don’t understand is Venom’s subtitles are capitalised when he isn’t yelling during cutscenes. Also, the Olog voice is better for Venom than the Hulk. The role belongs to Fred Tatasciore. Glad to see him back as the Hulk, same with Steve Blum for Wolverine, Nolan North for Deadpool and Yuri Lowenthel for Spider-Man (I like Josh Keaton too but he’s Iron Man in this). If Thor comes back, I hope Travis Willingham does the role again. For Black Panther, either Phil LaMarr or James C. Mathis III. For Black Widow (If she has a chance), Laura Bailey.

I just realized that when spiderman spider sense is strong when facing vampires, spidey has some strong vampire enemies so it makes sense. Yes he mostly fights morbius but one of the most dangerous and deadly villians is Morlin and his family of inheritors who are galactic vampires who feed on the life force of spider totems. When father came to fight galactic spiderman (and won) all the spider peoples spider sense screamed just before he came. Spiderman is probably the only if not the few who can make a top 10 worst vampires to fight list in marvel.
Love how they delve into Marvel's demonic and supernatural lore and realm. We don't get that much.
