Wildlife Photography - Sigma 150-600mm Lens | Canon M50

- Went out at sunset with the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens and my Canon M50. It was a beautiful, calm evening to observe wildlife. It was so exciting to see a beaver again and a variety of ducks out at the conservation pond. I didn't get amazing shots I was hoping for but I honestly just really enjoyed taking videos of the beaver with the Sigma. I do apologize for the shakiness a bit in the video as I have yet to purchase a gimbal but I am planning on it soon. All was done handheld.
I love the range on this lens and the quality of it. It's always special to be outside at sunset observing how the world interacts.

Very nice video once again! I've made the same decision as you, to go from my Canon Ef 55-250mm to the Sigma 150-600mm, but honestly, I somehow like the pictures from my Canon 55-250 better than the ones from my Sigma. The rendering is very special with the 55-250 (the IS STM version that is). Do you experience the same?
Thank you :) I felt that way at first but now I prefer the Sigma. The 55-250 I will still be using the most because it’s lightweight but the sharpness of the Sigma is very noticeable. How long have you been using the Sigma?
@@shaydlens yes, the sharpness and zoom of the Sigma is way beyond the Canon, that is why I made the switch. I have had the Sigma for about a year now but I’m not using it often because I don’t like the way the pics look, even though they are very sharp… I just now bought a second hand 55-250 again 😂 Now I’ll have both as well haha.
