  • On Day 3 of the #CGZurich conference, finance and risk author Nassim Nicholas Taleb made a keynote presentation in which he compared some digital currency communities and their HODL mentality to neo-pagan religions, and also gave a bit of historical context to a few well-trodden narratives around the sector.

He's correct imho. Taleb's problem is that he's not very likeable but that's a characteristic shared by many intelligent and erudite people. It doesn't bother me, his views on risk and life in general have profoundly changed the way I look at things.

So Taleb basically said cryptos are cults and useless, this includes BSV. I do like you guys gave a critic a platform to destroy BSV. Opposing views should be welcomed to speak their mind.

Those ideas are childish. Gold is not used as currency for centuries and keeps with deflation just fine.

Nassim has been dead wrong for 11 years. You must be a real glutton for punishment to believe this guy. Investors who appreciate one million percent returns have simply done the opposite of Nassim's backwards main points.
