    Having owning it since it’s release my opinion has changed. I go over the foot switch functions and play the songs that I downloaded from the Singular Sound web site.

    I've had this pedal since it was available. Been gigging like crazy with it. Use the manager to remove or add anything you want in a song. I've removed a lot of the pre made stuff and have only what I need on it. Takes a bit to get it figured out but after that no problems.

    When I first bought this 3 years ago.....the fascination went away fairly quick because I really didn't have the time to "learn" the pedal. Once I started to really look at it and play around with it, I am blown away with what a great pedal this is! Am using now with a Duo and Trio......Loving it to the max......don't be scared off by editing on your computer....once you catch on to it....its fairly easy to understand and I have just scratched the surface.

  • @whynotme5926

    I wish they would make a simple pedal with nothing on it and you go to their sight and pick the beats you want and download them.Leave all the other junk totally off the pedal. No symbol crashes and no rolls, just bass drum, snare and hi-hat. Have it where you load only what you want on the pedal and you could change it as you choose.I played drums in bands for twenty years and I could take about 5 beats and by using the tempo knob, play just about any song you needed. I have a few drum machines and they are either too complicated or the symbols sound like crap or the rolls sound bad. There is nothing worse than a drummer that plays too loud on his symbols or does a roll every 2 seconds and for heavens sake drummers out there now, learn to control your volume by how hard you hit the drum. I had rather have a drummer that keeps good time and never does a roll or crash than one that over plays.I don't want a pedal that has other stuff on it that I can't take it off.I have contacted about every pedal company on the market and asked them to just make a simple one and no response from any of them. You can bet if they would make one like that ,they would never have to make another and they would own the market. This one is probably the closet thing . I have probably gave away 5 drum machines because I got so mad at them.Just make one that I can start from scratch and put only what I want on it from there website. Maybe, I'm just too picky!!!!!!!

      Ahh you can edit it any way you want to, just get a empty SDHC card and load your own beats and rolls or lack there of,in the midi editor even the velocity of the crashes and hits it not that hard to do. I edited most beats I did like and changed a lot of shit I didn't need. Tada!!!!

    Uh oh, I think I'm definitely senile. I've had the BeatBuddy, with the foot pedal, for about a year and didn't realize it was programmable. Actually, I think when I first got the BB, I saw the PC connection and memory card and decided not to fool with that aspect, then completely forgot about checking into what I could do. Hey, I'm 75+ and...well that's my excuse. Anyway, thanks for reminding me that I have a terrific machine to explore. Oh, I have the Trio+, too; I wonder what I'm not remembering about it, now.

    I wish this had the adjustability of the sdrum. You can set how basic or busy a drum part is. Plus switch from hi hat to cymbal use to toms. Very cool. Tired of the lack of choices of sounds. They both use WAY too much cymbal. People must of thought that is what people wanted. We do not want cymbals after fills

    • @MikeFromNashville
      @MikeFromNashville  Před 4 lety +2

      I wish, there isn't a bass track. I really wish there was that option. I use the Trio Plus pedal. That is a looper that has different styles of bass and drums. It's really a great practice tool. I will say, the drums on this Beatbuddy sound better than the Trio Plus. So, hopefully they add that to the Beatbuddy. Thanks man! Oh, also the Boss RC-10r that is similar to the Trio Plus and has bass and drums. You would play a chord progression then it detects it and plays bass and drums that match, just like the Trio Plus. I hope this helps. Thanks Freddy!

    I need a Rock drums which I have........but a SIMPLE BASIC timed Metal beat ......... and wheil I have like 12 metal beats, they are all odd, non typical straight forward metal beats. Such as many of the 80s Metal drummers would usee.. No fancy shuffle swing time staggered stuff ........ Just a good double bass and snare ............ Alaso my Symbol crash button hits TWICE ....once when I step on it & once when I let off, so annoying. ....... Wish we could delete certian styles of beats we dont use on the Beatbuddy. I will never ever use Sing or bosa Nova,latin , Old, pop & a few others, ever.

    • @MikeFromNashville
      @MikeFromNashville  Před 5 lety +1

      I wonder how many Beat Buddy consumers use the Bosa Nova style. It seems like it's geared for guitar players. I think Beat Buddy wanted to stretch their wings with different styles to attract a larger market. I'm surprised they don't have a "Spoken Word" Style.
