Wow. This is 22 years old already. Time sure as shit flies.
HAHAHA---- "9"... as in *1994* ---Time literally means nothing to some.
Wow.. this came out when I was 1 year old, and my parents have been playing it ever since.. Actually my dad was just blasting this in the livingroom last week.
You have cool parents...I was about 25 when it came out..and listening to it now, still!
yeah, my dad also introduced to fla in circa 1995. i was 8 years old. now he passed away. he showed me all kinds of music and god damn, i don't really know from where he was able to get all of that stuff. Im from russia. so I bare a mark of the damned and those who had a hard access to good foreign music even that time, but thanks to dad i was up-to-date since my birth. And I am who I am now due to him.
Good on you pops.
My brother introduced me to computers circa 2001, which also led me to the introduction of fps genre.
This may sound offtopic, but Bill Leeb worked on the soundtrack of quake 3 arena, and that's where I found out about FLA, which also led me to nine inch nails (Quake1), aphex twin, skinny puppy and so on.
Yeah, i know sonic mayhem is often credited for the music of quake 2/3, but sonic did half of quake 3 ost and bill did the other half, plus the new tracks for the team arena expansion.
Just wanted to share the trivia.
@@AlphaEnt2just found FLA as im watching SAW and its on soundtrack... I love music from QII and QIII... Always thought it was all by S Mayhem...
i saw this in early 90's on one of first russian local channels translating foreign videos and become industrial addict forever
i love this assembly
This video was included as an AVI file on the Circuitry Remix Singles CD. The first track was CD Rom Data, which was a big deal back in the day. The inlay in the back says the following. Requirements, 486 DX 33MHZ or faster, 4 MB RAM Required (8 MB Recommended) 640x480 Resolution with 256 Colors (16.7 Million colors for best video performance. Double Speed CD ROM and 5.2MB hard disk space with 16 Bit Sound Blaster card with Windows 3.1 and mouse. That gives you an idea how ahead they were.
To China
Best team up ever. Bill Leeb, Rhys Fulber, and Devin Townsend. Loved this lineup of FLA.
Devin Townsend?!?!?
On guitar or what?
@@Vislav he does a few of the guitar riffs - Bill put up a flyer in the local area where Dev lives and he was strapped for cash at the time. This was as per Dev's bio book.
Dev is credited on Millennium, Hard Wired and I think Implode (although its likely some samples were re-used there)
It was a lucky line in the book to me - as I only knew FLA from the Quake 3 expansion sound track. I had no idea what I was missing out on! I looked them up on spotify and the rest is history ! I've been in the top 0.1% of spotify FLA listeners for about 5 years now haha
Most danceable industrial metal song I've ever heard!!!
I got to see them play this song live in Seattle. Now I can die without regret.
Almost 30 years later, this entire album remains relevant. Meaning, not much has changed in 30 years.
Well it's gotten progressively worse I think. But this is more relevant.
One of the reasons that made some of us to want to create music... always an influence.. even if our music became something different..
I remember me and my first boyfriend in a pit at the FLA concert at The L.A. Palace.
Been listening to FLA since 2006 and this is the first time I watched this video.
Ridiculously underrated, and prescient
I 🖤 FLA!!
Sounds like samples from "Full Metal Jacket" & "Falling Down". Great vid BTW!
when electro-industrial meets metal.
Yep
industrial metal
Metal? Nah.
Could listen to this song, over and over again
oh wow! I remembered the name of this band today and listening to them again after so many years, this song is just as awesome as I remember it.
The video version is a shorter version of a larger song, that's even better, though I assume you know that already by now, it's been 13 years since this comment.
I remember playing Doom with this blasting in the background. I did grow up to be a pretty angry man tho.
rivet heads unite!
I'm playing Doom with this blasting right now in 2021 :D
@@ftstrange6084 I hope you mean brutal doom. I really do

Underrated AF
One of my fav songs, f**king awesome!!
Absolutely LOVE what they were able to do on such limited budget!
Fuck yes. All these years and I never knew there was a video for this song!
It feels weird to say that I found this through Delerium, but I am impressed.
That's ok, i found them because of quake 3 arena (half ost) / team arena expansion pack. (full ost)
I got this back in the day, when I was 18. I just saw them live for the first time yesterday here in Hamburg. Oh man, time flies.
New to FLA only heard 40 seconds--->Favorites
This sound by FLA is such a perfect mix of electro-industrial and metal. I love this and this era of FLA’s sound especially 😮😮😮🔥🔥🔥⚙️⚙️⚙️😎
I loved this song the first and last time I have listened to it
i saw these guys live with gary numan and ministry, what a show
Yes
"Millenium" FLA -
Falling Down, Alien 3, Full Metal Jacket, The Fly, Darkman, The Abyss, Hellraiser 3, Kafka, Army Of Darness, Evil Dead 2, Fire In The Sky, Reservoir Dogs. Приятного просмотра!
P.S.
Amid all this confusion
We lose sight of the enemy
Like evil gods of destruction
They move through liquid transparency
Seems very prescient in 2021

Great album and pert of my workout playlist!
It's part of my workout playlist too! Keeps me in pace :-)
EPIC DISK... Man forgot how good these guys were/are. This whole disk was fuckin awsome.

That was an oddly specific number there but I agree
Only 1,520,277 to go.
Only 1,500,818 to go!
I think we've overshot our goal just a bit
Wow, I listen to this for the first time. It's almost on "Ministry" level.
No, this is much higher level man :)
Just one fix, part 2
@@petrpecival9364 Love Ministry but Millennium replaces all later Ministry albums for me. Btw while everyone worships Skinny Puppy, FLA are too underrated
These guys are touring with Ministry and KMFDM can’t wait to see them in Boston The Industrial Strength Tour
denver yo!
Hell Yeah!
Got my tix for NY!
Awesome song. I dunno what everyone else is talking about, the whole album is a glorious dark flood for the senses.
Kinda funny, after listening to Industrial so much, even bands like slipknot sound quiet and tame.
For me FlA introduced me in the dark side of the human potential long ago. It is a part of my human study But look I am not hurt. It's another vision of the humanism opposed to biotech beings wich are NOT ONLY human creations. Their poetry and sound tells the story of destruction. They create on the baseline of destruction. In some way we all are controlled here on Earth. In a controlled environment. The greatest sick things about being a human is the duality - and the rule to mind nothing is as it seems.
The Best and Splendid Front Line Assembly Studio Album Song
You need to listen to Plasticity. And Hard Wired.

LOL - I used to live in the building they made this video in!
Wow!! Where was it?
You were a squatter in an abandoned building!? Neato!
@@sashatagger3858 I leased part of a floor that was mostly leased by the folks who built the props and sets, and lived there "illegally". What makes you think it is abandonded? Do abandoned buildings usually have working elevators and power for various props, lights, and video equipment? We had various companies operating on other floors. Adress was 350 N Ogden, looks like its now legit legal "artist lofts", which is typical for how Chicago landlords worked...

it's a Metallica riff

Industrial on most of their stuff. I've never even heard of this 'Aggressive Techno'....
Fucking awesome track .
Gonna try and see them with Gary Numan and Ministry in a couple of weeks
FLA, Prong, Fear Factory, Ministry, Rammstein, Skinny Puppy and Killing Joke. The best bands making the best music. From what I've read here, some people have got no respect for this kind of music. Sad.
What about Godflesh? the first industrial metal band.
@AnalogX64 ... and how do you know this?
not sure why im watching a bunch of videos on the StG 44 machine gun and now this....but whatever. scavenging for Ai tech with your boys seems fun
Das der Anfang ähnlich klingt wie Diary of Dreams - Aphelion ist sicher rein zufällig.. ;-) Aphelion erschien allerdings schon 1997 auf dem Album "Bird without Wings".
Millenium 1994 😉
FLA's "radio edits" are always so painful. You just can't cut down a 6 minute track by chopping sections in half and stitching the remainder together with weird rewind effects.
@shitakio
yah, even though i hate most rap (esp. modern, but i like some 80s & early 90s), even the rap track on this album is cool :) I've read that some fans didn't like this album as much because it was too guitar-heavy, but that's exactly what i like about it!
I usually like ♥️Front Line Assembly♥️ very much, but I don’t like those heavy guitars either,..🙂
why cant i find "this faith" posted any where by fla?
