I'm so glad that you didn't put any type of bars, pvc bars, on the fronts of the stalls. Looks better and it gives the horses more freedom to look out. So good job on that.

Hey Stephanie I have a question I was wondering if you would know the answer. My question is how can I tell my horse’s age without looking at his teeth, I have a rescue that is supposably from a situation like your horse Louie. My horse does not like his mouth messed with so I don’t know how to tell his age. If you know how I would appreciate it if you could tell me
I use baling string to pull the horses to the barn from the pasture and to tie them to the hitching post from
their lead rope. Love the horses 🐎 😍

To cut up, my other bales of hay! Also- I use it to put the red bailing twine on my arena fence, so my horses can see the red, and not run into the fence or, if it gets spooked, or something bad happens. :)

At my friends farm I used hay string to break hay string !
You just put the string under the on u want to break and hold it at each side and pull left then right really fast and it will snap!
I don't even lik on the country let alone live near farm animals and know this!
Hi Stephanie. I have an FYI for you. I use the safety clip on the post because if your horse gets into trouble you can quickly loose him and still have a lead on him. Also I noticed we have the same vet. Dennis Van Roekel has been my vet since 1978 (before you were born), I know that I am aging myself, but it is what it is.

That’s why I have hay string attached to my so that it will break if the horses pulls back hard! Same concept :) & that’s awesome! Great vet!!
You should make a ramp so that you can bring the muck cart to the spreader and don’t have to scoop it!!! Then you can just dump it using the cart not shoveling it!!!

I use bailing twine for my horses all the time. I use it for the same things as you pretty much, but when I used to board, I used bailing twine as a halter holder on the stalls. I didn't have halter holders, so I tied bailing twine on the bars of the stalls and the hooked the halter to it.

I heard that someone used baling twine for a toy for their horse. They took a bunch that was knotted up and instead of untangling it, they hung in in the stall for the horse to play with. I’ve heard of other things too. Love you and your animals!

I don’t own horses but I have lessons on Wednesday 12:30 and it’s super fun you inspired me to do it thank you for everything and your horses love you for sure and love your routines with them I’m sure

And I’ve been watching your videos for so long!
My sole in my English boot started to come off at my riding lesson and we tied it with a hay twine and we also used the string from our stride bells at a show when the same thing happened
I havent done this yet, but my friend loves to use our twine as diy backup belts when we are in a pinch/forgot one and don't wanna keep pulling up our pants.
