Thanks for sharing. I had seen these in other Burmese cooking videos and wasn't 100% sure what they were. I thought perhaps they were a fermented chickpeas and some of the ones I have seen look like they are slightly sprouted.
oh!! no wonder my yellow peas got the skins all came out cos I 've waited to have the sprout! Have tried 3 times and still the same results. no I know!! thanks

I think u can try cooking with rice cooker just like cooking rice. But I will open and check the peas often while cooking.
Can I use soybeans instead of yellow peas?
Instead of boiling and steaming, is there a way for us to use with rice cooker or insta pot?
I don't own insta pot and never try b4. I cannot answer that question.
