+Adam Hickman yes i do valet parking and trust me, the seats are horrible is like seating in wood there's no type of seat support you slide all over, from a luxury suv i damn ridiculous when the seats should be priority. and plus in the long run its interior deteriorates is falls apart. is not a reliable vehicle. infiniti is way at the bottom for reliable vehicles.
luigynkaren062011 I've driven one multiple times. If you think the seats are bad you haven't driven many older vehicles. Or many vehicles period. I wouldn't know about its interior quality "in the long run" beings I drove a new one and they aren't old enough to judge how it holds up in 10 years.
The only vehicles I've noticed having deteriorating interiors are Ford plastics and Toyota Corollas carpeting. Again, because they are new I don't see how they hold up in 10 years.
Everyone has their preferences and will stick with whatever theirs is regardless of facts.
This SUV looks like a mean transformer at night with those Led Headlights.
I think Toyota/Lexus has hit a grand slam with this design!

You would prefer escalade or range rover over land cruiser? unbelievable! These land cruisers are tanks. Buy once and never visit mechanic shop. If you buy range rover you better find yourself a house close to mechanic shop also.
Besides, Escalades have poor driving dynamics and are unimpressive. And the Range Rover... Just doesn't feel exciting. I went to an auto show.

My one gripe is the beige carpet. I have beige carpet in my X5 and I do not at all find them to be functional. The X5 was available with a lighter oyster-colored leather that would have come with black carpets, but it was hard to find in that guise and I ended up with beige. Hopefully, Lexus doesn't saddle people who want beige or lighter leather with light carpets and offers darker ones as well.
Also, the classic Toyota/Lexus chime was much better. I estimate that the company switched to this new chime on cars that were redesigned/released in or after 2013 (Avalon, GS, ES, etc...) but I liked the old one better. Or they could just switch to a simulated, audio-fed chime like BMW, Porsche, et cetera.

You Americans are sad. The Escalade is fucking horrible and so is the Range Rover. If you really actually compare them to competitors side by side in real life, you will realize how unimpressive the Escalade and RR is.
and plus it has light on the side you just have to start the car.
At 10:02 the wood does not aligned together with the steering wheel especially on the left, top-side where it looks like the speculation of the leather is a little wrinkled, and even at 10:28 the wood can be better seen misaligned with the steering wheel, sorta like the Cadillac Escalade wood aligned with its dashboard.

If you ever go off roading in the middle of nowhere you dont want the newest powerplant you want the proven one. The handful of these sold in the U.S. are for affluent soccer moms.
Outside the U.S. these Landcruisers carry around policemen, russian politicians, and rich arabs through some of the worlds most extreme climates offroad.

USA4thewin Oh I Agree and totally get what you are saying. The point I was trying to make was the U.S. market isnt toyota's primary target audience when it comes to trucks. The worldwide truck market where the Landcruiser and Hilux is king and it isnt as competitive and progressive as U.S. market is.
LX 570 sales are about 4500 a year and it's I-force 5.7 liter from the tundra which sales are 130,000 annually pale in comparison to the competition. 750,000+ trucks from Ford F150 alone, and 800,000+ from Chevy Silverado/Gmc Sierra. From a buisness standpoint I think the japanese just leave well enough alone and steer clear of the American civil truck war.

True, but maybe this will be redesigned for 2018. I think with the new LS teaser images looking like the LC, the 2018 LX will have a redesign and hopefully flat folding third row seats with better acceleration and handling. And also massaging seats with a panoramic sunroof.
