Never heard about this game before but Ive recently had to live a game shutdown and this is why games as a live service suck. You will never see them again.

Which makes me womder, why does it has to be like this? Why do live service, or at least gacha games, have to close their servers with no offline mode? Like, when the servers are active, i can understand why a game must be 24/7 online, but once it goes EOS, players should have at leaat the possibility to play it anyways. This is simpmy bullshit.

@@Otherface it takes time and money to make an offline version, they understandably don't want to spend time and money for something that won't make them money.

@@Otherface Capcom did it with Megaman X Dive. They are selling a game as a standalone now.

Groove Coaster in the Arcades shutdown back in March... it was painful to hear that the scores are no longer savable, and a bunch of songs are gone.

and this is why initiatives like stop killing games are more valuable for gacha trash players than anyone else.
ya'll could be getting the megaman Xdive treatment.

Making private servers for the game? Sure but if ppl also want the player data that is unlikely to happen
The only thing they can do is to retain player data in their phones for viewing but no gameplay

One of the main reasons why nothing lasts forever online as eventually everything shuts down one day or another.
Even the internet itself won't last forever depending on what happens in our near or distant future.
Just look at how new the internet actually is, as it has barely been around for over 100 years and the internet is already setup to collapse on on itself with how rampant hackers are these days and its only a matter of time before they learn how to shut off servers remotely for entire countries if they haven't already.

oh it has pvp. Never heard of this game. But I guess that is why it died. Tbh games with pvp and a feature to let people spend money to be better doesn't have a long livespan. imo with exception to a few.
