I personally found the game really enjoyable not only in gameplay but also in atmosphere. It gave me a WELL NEEDED breath of fresh air (despite it is a gacha just as its brothers) I just find the atmosphere so chill and relaxing. I love its character's and I am currently Inter-knot lvl 50. I can see why people don't like the game, but it isnt THAT bad as many people claim. Is it hard? It heavely depends on what we are talking about, because Withering Garden is already challenging enough with 3 debuffs, let alone with all 11 at the same time, because that's End-game content. But 80% of content most people will experience is NOT hard.

Exactly, Hologram challenge is END-GAME challenge content, you don't see people try to fight it at level 10. If people want to hold the same standard when comparing games, they should compare Hollow Zero Withering Garden or the 11 difficulty rating Nineveh. Genshin is not by all means perfect as a game, but people who felt "personally" hurt by Genshin team's decisions in the past are echoing extreme negative feedbacks and shitposting. On top of that, the people trying to hold those people down are also overly positive about the game. There is such a lack of reliable voices to listen to in the Genshin playerbase who are nuanced and not extremely biased. It's so much easier for people to dismiss things about Genshin, whether the good and bad, so they can defend their own toxic behaviors. At some point the loud community was either "I'm trashing on Genshin and harass the dev team cause they weren't good to us" or "I'm gonna be overprotective towards Genshin because the game saved my life, and other people's opinions DONT MATTER and i refuse to listen to them because they don't like the game" Both these sides did not help Genshin. That's definitely what Dawei meant about confusion and anxiety. But people rather meme that they're just collectively worrying over profits. They refuse to consider that the anxiety and confusion could be true because they have drawn their own conclusions already. And the people protecting Genshin now is spreading their own conclusions about Cai Haoyu's resignation being the reasons of Genshin's bad reputation. Like... there is so much more to it than just one bad guy causing all this. It sounds like scapegoat, yk. Imaginarium theater is still easily clearable. I care less about primo rewards from quests. I've never thought of primos to be necessary because Genshin isn't a hardcore game, and there really isn't an issues with powercreep. The only other thing I agree with the community is the lack of "actual" endgame content to this day for hardcore players. Imaginarium theater is just basically extended gameplay time, but it lacks skills challenge and complex mechanics. I hope devs cook on that more. I'd be interested even as a casual player. I played the game for the story, lore, immersion and exploration, and I think of the combat as just a bonus. People can't get a character they like and they rage quit. Like huh? I do think people want Genshin to be something that it isn't and they're heavily projecting. It's kinda like One Piece. There are people who love One Piece for the journey and the slowburn storytelling pacing, and there are those who don't find satisfaction from it. And that's really fine. One Piece also has its downsides. There are also people who overly praise One Piece. The extreme reactions and agendas just don't provide anything other than drama. I mean, lets be honest. Caui is one of his friends but the same thing happened to HI3 when Caui was in charge if it- little to no improvements and bad rewards, player satisfaction dipped down. Genshin was the joint baby of four friends that was going to make or break MiHoyo/Hoyoverse. Its become the face of the company but the way his friend managed the game caused alot of dissatisfaction. Really makes me wonder if Caui kept the rest of the founders in the dark about feedback. Da Wei started going around the world right around the time Caui left to go work on a new project in the US. Now Da Wei and the new management have to fix his mess to put their baby back on track. People might mock Love and Deepspace but seeing as Hoyo donated money to it's development, and its giving Genshin the most competition in the market they focus on the most (mobile), theyre getting a lot of feedback from men and women that are former Genshin and WuWa players enjoying a romance game thats delivering in alot of areas.

ZZZ grossed ~US$300 million in its first month alone, easily covering all its development costs. Most of its competitors won't make that much in their entire lifetimes. Anyone saying it's a flop is clickbaiting. People really don't understand just how much money Mihoyo makes. It's one of the top 10 largest privately held companies in the entire world. Genshin on PlayStation alone makes more revenue than the rest of the entire PlayStation store combined... They know what they're doing, and know how to do it better than any of their competition.

Azurlane has become a daily game for me for the past 7 years (jp ser), it is casual enough that you don't need to worry for the strength and resources even you didn't login for one or two weeks but still can appreciate for the beautiful ship girls and skins every patch you comeback.
