You don't have to be rich. Just plan accordingly. This won't disappear right away. You'll have about 18-24 months to save if you want it.

I just finished building it for myself today. What a magical set. It was great to rewatch this.
I'm still waiting for Lego to do the most iconic scene from the films since the original LOTR sets and never did it. Gandalf vs the Balrog. Maybe with the newer diorama style it can be done and have the quote "you shall not pass" to go along with it.
This is just breathtaking. I am so goddamn excited for this set

Great set idea and lovely details but why stickers at this price point?
You know a lot of Ultimate Collector Series Sets have stickers and are much expensive to 600-800$ for example The Lego AT AT has stickers at 850$ also the Millennium falcon
@@LEGO_Silver_007 Thank you for your reply! Indeed I know, it is a pity at these higher price points and cost of a print a weak argument nowadays, with plenty of competitors proving that I can be done cost-efficiently and at scale. Still a promising set.

That Reveal was stupid.
Why not already have it set up with a black curtin blocking it then pull it away. That would have been better than getting it out of the box in pieces and pieces falling off.

It looks like it's only 3 stickers and LEGO could've easily had the tiles stickers too if they wanted to or not have new molds and printing on the minifigs.
Is no one gonna talk about how they changed Boromir, Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas.. For the worse?!! I'm so Dissapointed in the new figures I had been so hopeful to finally get the original ones

Thank god the LOTR set is a minifigure set, unlike all these annoying Star Wars helmets, marvel busts and gloves and similar sets that are straight garbage.

Overly expensive sets, thousands upon thousands of pieces, sometimes it doesnt even resemble a toy nowadays. Then those same AFOL dudes hoard sets all the time, driving the prices even higher... I like the product (Lego) I dont like the company and I dont like some (not all obviously) AFOL types of people who I see as culprits to making Lego what it is today. Hell you made Lego sell an ADIDAS SHOES made of bricks and PLANTS (among other hilarious releases)!!! We have reached a point where a 2,000 piece set is considered "average" and to buy a decent Lego as a gift to a child you should look 150$ and upwards EASILY...
I totally disagree. There are still literally hundreds of sets at cheaper price points for you to buy. These new larger sets aren’t going to cost 100 dollars when they are 3-5 times larger then most other sets that Lego produces. What is wrong with them creating huge display sets for fans that want those? It would be another story if this was a 1,000 piece set like helms deep and it cost $500. Then I would agree with you. But it’s not..so I don’t lol

Hulkbuster and Black Panther bust 20% discount on Lego website after 2 months (never seen)...reviews of them and HP train are awful, those sets are collecting dust on Lego shelves. I can speak also about retailers situation, they got in my Country a mountain of last Batman Tumbler, one selling always 20% off and other retailer for disperation came back pre-inflation price. I'm not against big sets if they offer proper things to consumers and the top comment meaning is perfectly right cause he is speaking about how much stupid sometimes consumers can be
