Just a shout out to Gabriella's father. I know how proud of her you must be. I have a daughter just a couple years older, she is a school teacher. I am very proud as a father, and when I watch Gabriella play, one thing I think about is just how proud of this beautifully accomplished young woman you must be. I am proud for you. Obviously she has been blessed with great parents. Gabriella, well done as always.
Kansas' Kerry Livgren would be proud of how well you have arranged his little finger exercise. This is the best fingerstyle arrangement of this song I've ever heard and I can't imagine it being done any better. Brava Gabriella!
I have been giving guitar lessons to a group of Jr high kids... 5girls, 6boys. The girls are constantly telling me "my fingers won't bend like that " . Since I recommended watching You, not one of them has told me what their fingers Won't Do.
You are a Great Help to many you will Never Know.

Thanks for pointing me to her previous versions. She’s improved a ton in nine years! I’m an old dude who’s heard the original song a gajillion times and learned to play the “correct“ accompaniment years ago. I much prefer this one. She adds a lot of nice touches to it.
She just gets better and better. Truly one of the great artists of our time.
Not to dump on the underlying meaning here, but I kinda take exception to "an audience not realizing the talent they hear before them".
Both her talent and potential were blatantly evident in 2012.

Opened for Kansas in early 90’s, ‘‘twas the high point of my musical journey at the time. I continue to be inspired by YOU to higher Musical aspirations, as usual your performance is inspiring!
This was by far the best guitar rendition that I've heard of this song; it's absolutely beautiful, and played wonderfully! Great job!

Even if it hadn't, I would still have cried, it's played so beautifully.
11 years ago you put out a video of "Dust in the Wind". When you compare the two, you can hear the maturity of you new version. The big difference is this version is slight slower in tempo, and the bridges are fill with anticipation of the next verse, and the violin interpretation fits seamlessly, which create an over beautifully played song. Thank you for given it another go. It's as bueatful as the original Kansas. I don't say that lightly. Dust us my favorite song. Fantastic job.

Gabriella covered this song 10 years ago. It is amazing to see how she progressed and how time flies. Makes you realize that all we are is dust in the wind.
The best part - to my ears -starts around the 1:40 mark where she goes into the violin solo on Kansas’ version. Gabriella has this innate ability to keep playing the instrumental backing whilst also playing the solo part. I wondered how she could do that (having listened to it hundreds if not thousands of times since it was released) and then her arpeggiations just blew me away! This young lady’s talent is amazing to the point of incredulity! Thanks for playing this - sooo many fond memories attached to hearing, playing, and singing this song!

i saw Kansas on stage about 2 years ago playing this song; Gabriella plays it almost as well as they do.

I grew up in a farming area in Kansas so this song and group are special to me. Gabriella, your arrangement is amazing. I love the hamer-ons, pull-offs, and riffs you blended into this amazing song. Very nice.
As always, I'm blown away with your skills and love your style. Here at home I call your style "Quiet Hands". Almost no unnecessary movement. I went crazy when you did the two ascending runs with the movement of only two left fingers. You can tell I'm a huge fan and love your arrangements. Absolutely wonderful! The best solo adaptation of this song I've heard. Beautifully done! This is a very unique open tuning I've not yet tried. Perhaps it's time for an old dog to learn a new trick..
Usually, Gabriella gives an intermittent glance at the camera to sneak an adorable smile. This song requires such intense concentration, she gave the camera an icy "I'm gonna f**k you up" glare.
It's a real talent that you can work in the base, the chords, and the melodies into a complete orchestration that makes absolute sense with the original, while still being innovative -- all with just one guitar.

This song has always meant alot to me because of the fleeting nature of life. I compared the version you played in 2011 to this one and the comparison has shown me what it means to do more and be more in everything we can do here on earth (and beyond). In this version you've added so many soft corners and rich steps between the notes. Life's true mission is less about grandiose accomplishments and more about adding "soft corners and rich steps between the notes".
