Gabriella has incorporated all the recognizable elements from Lynyrd Skynyrd's recording, which were played by three guitarists, piano, bass. drums and a singer! She pulls all that together really well, and manages to give her version of the song a great feel too. It was such fun to listen to!

I thought Gabriella's playing of Let It Be was the best she had played a song on her channel. After hearing Sweet Home Alabama, in my humble opinion, this is her best playing of any song and maybe not even close. What a fantastic talent Gabriella is.

@King_of_Dragons She's been at this art on CZcams for 10+ years... Tons of songs. The way you posted your comment made it sound like she's late to the party. She's been a fingerstyle CZcamsr for longer than Luca (who is also awesome, btw, but he uses all sorts of custom guitars and Gabriella does it all on a normal 6-string). Fair disclosure: I'm a fingerstyle guitarist, and Gabriella is one of the people who inspired me to keep at it (it's wayyyyy harder than it looks, despite how Gabrilella makes it look, and way harder than "regular" guitar).
To my ears this is the type of arrangement that amateur guitarists deserve and should aspire to play at the expert/intermediate level. Groups like the Eagles especially wrote great songs but they require multiple guitars plus a rhythmic section including a bass line to convey a professional sound similar to the original recordings. The typical tabluture for this song is easy for the intermediate player if they only follow the chord changes with an appropriate strumming pattern and an occasional riff. This arrangement requires more nuance and "musicality" from the guitar player especially if they are not accompanying a singer.
"Now tell the truth", you just gotta love this rendition by Gabriella of that classic tune! 👍👍💖💖

Love this style of guitar playing, you basically playing drum , bass , and guitar all in one instrument. So awesome. The sound is so much richer than the basic way of playing that I knew growing up. I took a year and about half hour per day trying to master finger picking. Couldn't master it as well as you have. Great song choices too! Love it!

At least Alabama does not have a governor who is an arrogant, narcissistic sexual abuser who sentenced thousands of elderly retirees to death during the pandemic. And I agree, Gabi is a treasure. Too bad DayTrade had to spoil the moment with a comment like that.
@@bobhodges3116 we did get rid of a governor recently that had some of those issues, but the state is a wonderful place overall.

I spent 30 years in the military, stationed all over the US and am now retired in Huntsville. There is a reason it is on so many top 10 cities in the US

A year ago, I saw one of her videos, and it inspired me to try to learn fingerstyle. A year later, including 7 months of lessons, I can comfortably play quarter not melodies under a thumbed bassline ("Travis-style" guitar) and just when I think I'm getting kind of good at it, I watch another one of her vids and she's properly soloing, all the while keeping the bassline running and sounding as good as if someone else is playing it... damn! She makes this look so easy. Heh.
