"According to the late Powerhouse Amuse founder Hideki Tanabe, the Amuse S2000 R1 Titan featured a stock engine with tuned headers, exhaust, and ECU. The aero is rather tame as far as touge machines go, featuring only a front lip and a GT wing. The real weapon is the Amuse 2000's suspension setup and weight loss. After a dry carbon hood, trunk, wing, and soft top completely removed, the Amuse S2000 weighs just 1140 kg, or 134 kg (300 lbs) less than stock." The main things would be the weight loss and suspension followed by the light engine work.
Troy B Yeah. I like that in the end it should be pretty close to the stock car in a good way. It probably retained ~50/50 weight and got a significantly lower center of gravity after the top removal and the carbon giving it a more reassuring and stable feel. Since it'd probably get bouncy at 1140kg they added some aero which helps keep it from bouncing around just a bit and, admittedly, looks kinda cool and finished it with what's probably a completely recalculated suspension setup. Oh yeah, and the touch up on the ECU must've gotten it running that little bit happier at high RPM. I'm pretty sure it won't be that much faster than the stock car, especially considering the money invested, but I'd bet it feels much more reassuring to hoon in. The exhaust will also probably sound better. It was definitely tuned with the goal of "fun" instead of times which is nice to see for a change. Especially on a car that's what I'd call "fast enough" stock.
From what I can hear and see it has a cool air intake , a NOS fogger system, and a T4 Turbo, an AIC controller, it has direct port nitrous injection , and a stand alone engine management system..not a bad way to spend 10,000 dollars.
Wow those turn input was so responsive and sharp. Amuse original tuner was very good at tuning and will be missed.
actually thats how all s2000s drive
They’re still around
@destructoidx99 all s2000s drive good but the Amuse drove best. Nothing like it. It'd eat Porsches for breakfast , lunch and dinner.
really Nice vid! DK is unbeliveable on the wheel of this S2K
Keiichi Tsuchiya. Respect.
Like the engine sound.
Thank you so much, the best lap on Hot Version, ever. 🙏🏼
“ so amazing so amazing sooo amazing, maji kayooo (seriously??) “ is all i heard 😂
Drift King could be very fast too ! i would shit in my pants driving such fast at this track .... :-D
If only we could see the footwork 😔
the ONLY thing scary about this is how much Tsuchiya-san is enjoying himself... AND how easily this S2K can be driven ! ;)
Space time distortion

I was more impressed when he drove the Corvette tho

The new Corvette? Was it a C7 or C8?
The one he hated and called "wet newspaper"? Hahahaha

Lanolderen The way the suspension is tuned must be brilliantly executed
