- It is impossible to overstate how good this restaurant is! Exceptionally high quality meats grilled to perfection! Very few steakhouses anywhere in the world deliver food this good at such a reasonable price. The salads and veg are super fresh and tasty too. If you get anywhere within 100 miles of Kotor, #Montenegro -- just go! You just got another reason to extend your Dubrovnik trip another day or two and take the easy 2 hour drive down to Kotor!

The pictures do not do Montenegro justice. Not at all. It is that beautiful.
Vegetarian and vegan fare are plentiful as well. Eggplant, goat cheese, baby chard, incredible tomatoes and tomato sauces, black olives, capers, and mature, European arugula are staples; iow, luxury food is normal.
Off season is the time to go -- it isn't crowded, October is still a summer month, the best hotels are under $55 a night, even with a room right on the Adriatic. A lovely dinner for three is about $30 at a great restaurant. If you like Italy, you will love Montenegro.
