I absolutely LOVED what Munky said about how tough it is to hand their riffs and ideas to a struggling Jonathan, and excpext him to put it all together with his feelinfs. Shows how much they care for one another. This band is definitely a family.
love this band, big part of who I am.
@Dr S4T4N Been A Fan since I was 11 years old, worked for 14 bucks to get the first album from a gas station CD rack Went to Family Values tour, seen them with it was just Monkey, fieldy and John, then seen them again last year with Islander and Stone Sour, I remember not being able to afford there tour shirts, so I would silk screen my own korn gear!... Sorry Korn did what I had to do... like I said they are a big part of who I am, love what they are, were and will be.
me too mate, i still turn to them now. their music just hits a nerve its powerful.
Iâd have to agree with you on this statement. Me as well!
They are doing really good, But any true fan would agree that life is peachy was the fucking shit. đ
Same. All through. Whatever they decided to do, spanning and exploring different types of music. They stayed solid and consistent all through. Love their music.
Iâm so glad they showed the raw vocals for the âgod is making fun of meâ part of idiosyncrasy as thatâs my favorite part of the whole album, Head nailed it when he said it sounds like 24 years ago.
listening solidgoldivan
im good fantasy
CrimsonDiamond8 you mean jon
CrimsonDiamond8 oh wait nevermind
Jonathan is the only singer that gives me chills when I hear him sing! Iâm glad heâs pulled through all the rough things in his life! RESPECT Jonathan!
Yes, Sir I feel ya! I also get chills every time I hear his voice.
@youtube musicians are edited imbeciles -JD's mother just died too and even if she was his ex wife, I'm sure he still had love for her.
In no way at all does that make him pathetic.
Respect, much love.
Him and Robert Smith are the only people who give me chill
Him and Chino from Deftones are the only ones who can get me
Korn will forever be my absolute favorite. The music, the feelings, the realness, their energy. Just drives me.
They came from nothing too!
I'm right there with you. đ€
Agreed 1,000%. NEW KORN ALBUM NEXT YEAR. Canât fkng wait soo hyped
Their music is almost hypnotising whenever i listen to it. real emotions right there
Its good to see jonathan davis laughing
Heâs a handsome sweetheart. đ
I will be honest, I have not seen Jonathan laugh in a long time
BiRDiE yes, this is the point, so iâm happy to see that
now munky started to looks like Bob Marley
@@ulyssessait đ
Head brings the metal to KoRn, it wasn't the same without his musical influence.
Something about Head & Munky together is pure magic that can't be replicated. đ€ #OGKORNFANS
I had more than a few Guitar World posters of Munky and Head plastered on my walls as a teenager! So glad to see them back together...
and *finally* get to see them live next month!!!
@2020 Did I say the other members of my favorite band are _not_ talented? I've been a fan since before you were probably born.
They're all very talented, and all a huge part of Korn's sound.
It's too bad about David, he was very iconic in Korn's early sound, but far less than the other 4 members. I feel bad saying it, but I think he was the most easily replaceable of the original members.
I just saw Korn a few weeks ago, and Ray kicked ass, I wouldn't have noticed the difference on the old songs, and it was a phenomenal show all around.
what happen to david?
Iâm obsessed with these. I remember in the mid 90s buying Who Then Now on VHS and watching it over & over & over! I still have it. I still know it by heart lol.
Yep...'bout to pop that in the old DVD/VHS player.
Why do they call you HEAD?
gashthrasher _ Cuz I have a big head. Go get me any hat it wonât fit, except for this one cuz itâs stretchy.
I have this Vhs untill now.. hehe
"this here is our reser... reserved space for our record"
To be fortunate to have been into Korn since the beginning. This is an amazing evolution of the band. Jonathan still puts so much into his art form. Itâs great to hear them give reference to Pantara. Music is an emotion that Korn helps with and I will always see them live
I love that JD said "it's a spiritual experience ". "That he does'nt know if it's God or the universe up there making fun of or fucking with him".
I felt that ,it made me cry !!
Why?
5:40-5:49. As if the album version didn't break me enough. The emotion is just the raw track like that is something truly spiritual..
Now I finally know the way they play my favourite riff of the album
Mr A songsterr ALWAYS gets everythingâs wrong
This has been my favorite episode so far!
Same
This whole album comes across feeling like Jonathan went back to his roots. It felt the same when I saw them play live at Aftershock. So much f'n energy.
He had a lot to sing about. âđŒđ
"the darkness is revealing" is my favorite song from korn
Love the bridge of this song!
KoRn has been my favorite band for 20 years now đ€ One of the most talented bands to ever walk this earth! And Jonathan and Brian would have to be the two most handsome men on the planet đ
Those chunky, heavy chords are everything! Jon's lyrics are heavy too, so it all just fits!
đžđ
Idiosyncrasy is definitely one of my favorites on the album along with Gravity Of Discomfort, Cold, and some others. Great episode.
Each of these episodes makes me so emotional for some reason. I get so drawn in and feel closer to each member of the band than I ever thought possible.
The way you guys produce your music is just so beautiful.
Creating a space, a world of music for Jonathan to freak out and find peace in - the merging of two worlds of art. This is just so amazing!
What a wonderful early Christmas gift getting my wish that you guys would show the making of this BADASS EPIC album. Thank you, Korn! We love you guys!đ€đŸ
This bond between brothers in a band is very inspirational. Really appreciate you guys.
I am so happy to see them still kicking ass after all these years, KoRn is my favorite band and I love the reference to Pantera. đ€đ€đž
Love that Head has been backđ€đ€
I love how they gave props to Pantera. I grew up with KoRn, then got into Pantera later in life. Full circle
Very cool with the Pantera connection. Didn't think about it till Munk and Head pointed it out!
Both bands were just a couple of several of their influences as is often the case with all other artists. It's not attention seeking; it's sharing what inspires someone.
Seeing JD nerd out at the end is awesome
The darkness is revealing is one of my favourite Korn songs of all time
Itâs a masterpiece
The way they dance when grooving yo this is exactly how this music makes me want to move. Such an awesome album
This album has Jon's best vocal work in a long time
To all the fans that said Idiosyncrasy sounded like Pantera, its Confirmed that it was the inspiration.
I fucking knew it, right once that track started I smile, looked into the sky and said "they're thinking about you, Dime". â€đ€ Pantera Forever!!
Nothing wrong with paying homage to the great ones , and Dime was a great one , and a good friend that we all miss.
It's all about Respect.
Did they ever do this on another album?
@@garagedays2988 Did My Time - Take A Look In A Mirror
@@raulfigueroa588 appreciate it!
Munky is always playing the best guitars ever. He has Ibanez, Aristides, Hapas and now this Mayones with true temperament. I envy him in a good way.
This band has helped me through so much.So much love for these guysđ
I love this band and have for a long time....since 1995. Have seen them live with the original line up on the Untouchables tour, they're great. But everyone has grief in their life Jon....I had 2 funerals in one week in November. At least you're a millionaire rockstar at the end of the day. Most people get the grief without all that.
Love Korn with all my heart their my heros đ
My idol, JD, been killing it since the self-titled album... I would think I went to heaven if I ever had the chance to meet JD and KoRn... Love you guys! Keep up the amazing work
This is a good episode. I'm so greedy. I want more more more more!
I had all my life a favorite band called KoRn.... now I have this favorite band that came around like a Tornado.. their name is KORN, I have never seen nothing like this KORN !
I grew up with korn. They will always be apart of my heart. God bless them. Keep on rocking guys!
Been listening to Korn since 96, they helped mold me into who I am today.
Thank you guys, and my condolences to Jonathan, really glad he pulled through.
The support these members have for each other is adorable in the up most badass way. It is so beautiful to see them all surprising themselves all over again, this time without all the substance abuse. Still honest and raw af. I love you so much KORN come to Canada soon
Really enjoying reading the comments on this playlist. Hello fellow KoRn appreciators, much love to yous xxxx
The Darkness Is Revealing is my favorite song of the album, great riffs, great drums and amazing lyrics.
That bridge broken me up brother. God loves you John. Never doubt that.đ€
Thanks for everything over all these years
Love seeing them work in the studio
You can feel the pain in the songs but youve made it into something amazing.i have the most utter respect for jonathan smashing through his grief and making it a art form. To have munkey head feildy and ray there to bring it together. You are my band you have been for 21 years i live you guys your cds are constantly playing in my car or when im running on the treadmill watching your music vids or smashing out some weightlifting i live you hope you guys have a great christmas xx
Felt that unity since the beginning guys. That's why we all love you guys, especially myself being a fan before you hit it big. I saw you guys about 25 years ago with a band named Grotus.
Keep rocking bros...
Love love love them !! đ€ Iâve been listening for years and I still canât get enough ..
This is easily one of the best episodes in the docuseries yet! I love this band.. I have for 25 years, and I will til the day I die!
I love this band. I love this docuseries. Cant wait to see you guys on tour in February.
Korn is my #1 band and with so much good music out there that's saying something. They've never failed me on any record. Here to Stay is still my favorite song by them but this new album...wow I love almost every trak.
Love it Love KoRn JD speaks to my soul I love his vocals
Korn; always heavy, melodic, atmospheric and f*cking good! Since 1998 listening to this extraordinary band.đ€đž
So much love for Korn đ€
This is what i have been waiting for.Love korn.
Album is amazing, can't wait to see you guys play the songs live!
âThereâs a unity in the guitar playing that I know people feel.â Yup. Since day 1 for me. How can you listen to something like Blind and not notice that.
Love you guys. Thanks for your works and coloring my teenage years.
Brings me back to 94 in high school. The true Korn sound!
Their genius riffs are back and Ray is epic on the drums. Super grooves! Good job Korn! I've been a fan since I was a kid!
Thanks again Korn for this amazing album I will see you live. 2020. Happy holidays from my family to yours.
I love this band sooo much
I love watching this process...thanks for sharing it.
This episode are fantastic definitely I love KORN....i can feel through my veins every time i heard a KORN song or watch a video đ€đ€
Can't wait to finally see these guys live!!!
See y'all in Columbus!
The new cd is fricken amazing! They just keep pumping out new and innovative sounds.
The best reality tv in the world! Excelent editing! And the best part JD sings the part i wanted see him singing.. awesomee! Brutal! The best. Keep up this series!
An amazing album. Cant say it's the best album because they all are so great but this one is absurd. So well done and cant stop listening to it. The album just hits so hard and strong, from lyrics to the music. One of my all time favorites. Can't wait to see you guys at the Reach Center.
Beautiful work of art. Long time fan.
Im lucky to be born on the 90's because of this band thier music moves me,through struggle..to this days still listening..bang my head sometimes...
@youtube musicians are edited imbeciles well i can't..music is part of my life.
I love the atmosphere and the energy to feel when a good group of musicians meet. The way the music comes to life. Here and there some crazy idea. And the one when it comes out is that a bomb.
Lots of good concerts and lots of inspiration for you I wish. đ€đ€đ€
This was a really cool look at behind the scenes stuff!! Cool to see what the band is really like off stage!!
So excited to meet you guys in Montreal. You saved my life. Thank you.
He's such a beast, I have nothing but love and respect for him and the whole band đ
Loving these little behind the scene videos. Thank you. I'd love see Jonathan laying down the vocals for "the end begins" What a rollercoaster that ride is...
Love you guys!!!!â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžFOREVER KORNđ€đŒ KORN FOR LIFEEE!đđ€đŒ
It's good to see him going, and astonishing at the same time.
Oooh wonderful. I really dig these peeks behind the curtains...!
I especially love this synergy of Head and Munk :D
Also yeah, you really hear that "The Darkness is Revealing" is the first song they wrote, I feel like songwritingwise, it has so much Serenity of Suffering in it.
Which is a great thing - because of that and because of the really home-hitting lyrics, it's by far my favourite song off the album.
But yeah, the other songs are more experimental, but "Darkness" has so much from what I loved about SoS C:
I'm only on part 4 of this docu series and I can't wait to see the rest of them I love â€ïž korn
Yea, this is pretty profound. Love seeing the process
Loving these vids đ
That would be so dope to be in the room while these two start working on new material. I bet thereâs so much other good riffs that got shelved.
i love you guys you really did a great job on the new album i seen you on the tour it was absolutely incredible you guys were tight as always the sound was excellent, killer mix on the drums etc everything was awesome, love you guys!!!!! jon,bro hang in there man i know exactly how you feel.life is peaks and valleys and your on top one day and down in the valley others.i know the darkness i think we just have to work thru it the best we can, peace you guys merry christmas etc
Jesus Jonathan, how do you do it? You still have some sort of smile on your face? Thank you Korn for all you have done and all you do
