We made it to Logan! What a movie!! I had to take out SO many good scenes since this movie is 2.5 hours long with intense, action packed and emotional scenes! I had to make sacrifices to stay within Fair Use law, so I do highly recommend our FULL Reactions! I cried so much! It took longer than usual to edit this since I really tried to keep in the best reactions with different emotions (not just screaming and crying).

It was said on the radio that Charles had a seizure, and that killed the X-men! That’s what happened a year ago, in the movies timeline.

@@DanielFernandez-gv6iy Yo in the comics its actually Logan that kills them all accidently, Mysterio played a trick on his vision and Logan thought he was killing the enemy, but he was revealed the horror of what he had done.

Mugetsu there was also one where charles is captured by weapon x program and they got into his head which he used to much of his power and ended up killing the xmen

This movie got an Oscar nomination for the Best Adapted Screenplay.
Hugh jackman and Patrick Stewart were robbed of Best Actor and Supporting Actor nominations!

@I the MCU being overrated is just an opinion, whats great when it comes to film is subjective. But you really don't think Black Panther deserved its noms for Costume Design, Production Design, & Score? The only one it didn't deserve in my opinion is best picture. I'm still shocked it got a Best Picture nom considering it had no acting noms, no director nom, no editing nom, or no screenplay nom. Primarily no acting or screenplay nom, I don't ever think that has ever happened before. That was a really random best picture nom. But Logan (which I think is the best superhero movie ever made, sorry dark knight fans) got a screenplay nom which has never haven't for a superhero movie before (besides the incredibles), that's a huge honor. Because the actual writing was recognized, I think the only reason Hugh didn't get a Oscar nom for acting is because of Greatest Showman (the academy hated that movie).
I love the end of this movie when Logan dies because it fulfilled the prophecy from the second solo Wolverine movie when his Japanese friend told him that she envisioned his death, laying flat on his back covered in blood holding his heart in his hand, at the time we thought that this was the first time that she was ever wrong about these things because he was laying flat on his back covered in blood while he was trying to dig out that bug from inside his chest we all thought that that's what she was talkin about but it wasn't, what she was talking about happened way in the future when he was laying flat on his back in the woods covered in blood and holding his heart in his hand, his heart being his clone daughter

they were supposed to do that in new mutants but they ended up choosing another saga, to fit the horror genre

Spider-man 2 was good but TDK and Logan had a special amount of emotion and depth to it no other comic book movie has had.

I have had a relative, an aunt I was close to, with Dementia. seeing professor x with it in this was highly emotional.
I watched this movie when it first came out and I was sad when Logan died. Now my grandfather has dimentia and when I watch it now it makes me all types of sad, but the movie is still great

Fantastic movies
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is probably my favorite one out of all three of them Rise of the Planet of the Apes is really good too although I was severely disappointed by War of the Planet of the Apes while it has very good amazing visual shots but the action sequences are disappointing and the whole marketing was a lie there was no type of war between humans and apes and it was such a shame but it has some amazing visual shots though

Hahah and you see Ceaser evolve and becoming that smart and big leader he is in the other movie, the second was really amazing to but the third, naah.. Andy Serkis is an absolut beast at his perfoming

The acting of Dafne Keen is amazing
Agreed. If she can avoid the usual Child Actor Pitfalls she's going to be the real deal. Just a phenomenal talent, and by all accounts she has superb instincts. Mangold allowed her a degree of freedom to improvise and determine her own approach to scenes in ways even many ADULT actors don't get.
That ending still gets me. I'm crying all over again lol

Charles kills a chunk of x-men by accident during one of his seizures.
In Old Man Logan (the on-going comic series this movie is based on) it was Mysterio who changed the appearance of the students at the x-Bois academy to appear a threat through Wolverines eyes. Wolverine thinking they were the naughty bois he went on a killing spree, unfortunately killing the mutants in the school. He's left traumatised after this event, so you get a pretty broken Logan dealing with life after that.

This movie is unforgivably brutal and not just in violence. It wrecked me so much that I never gathered the courage to see it again.
"Shit! It's the Wolverine!" I love that bit, it's when Logan is sprinting through the forest, you hear a reaver yell that.
Dammit, even with just the highlights, the emotions hit hard.
Would love if you guys could watch Godzilla (2014) and Kong: Skull Island in honor of Godzilla: King of the Monsters coming out in a few weeks

It’s one of those movies where you shouldn’t expect much, it’s supposed to be action packed with a ridiculous plot. That’s what it’s made to be, and if it has a good story, even better!

If you enjoy mindless dumb action with a ridiculous story, hey I'm happy for you. But dont act like that's a good thing for most people. I love this movie, but it is a hard watch. Depressing and uplifting, horrifying and tender, it's really is one of the best movies ever.

Yukio's vision about Logan's death in The Wolverine was beautifully foreshadowed.

For me, aside from laura saying daddy, the big "moment' was that dire scream coming from the depths of the forest. Whether you have watched the movies, read the comics or are watching the metaphors play out for the first time, agree or disagree, every single person I have watched this with went "Daddy's home"

You guys getting close to truly crying at Logan’s and really did bring back all the emotions this film gave me, and everyone else around the world. I was legitimately feeling the tears bubbling up again for that ending. It was so well done, but still breaks your heart.

@@Blackhawk211 It isn't, there's actually a deleted scene where Charles has a spell of dementia, and tells the family that Logan killed Jean, because he remembers looking into Wolverine's mind in DOFP and seeing his suffering. Logan then explains that to him that she died with everyone else, due to his seizure. This is set in the new timeline, but because Charles read his mind and even met old Charles in DOFP, it allowed him, like Logan, to remember two separate histories.

Easily one of the best superhero movies of all time. It breaks out of the cliche of always having a heroic, happy ending. Absolutely amazing.
When I saw Logan for the first time I cried a lot, it cost me a lot to overcome his death, now that I see him again, I opened a wound that I thought was closed

I don't know if you caught it but what Xavier was hinting that he did was that he had a seizure in the xmen mansion and he killed all the xmen. This movie is somewhat based on the comic book storyline old man Logan in tone, genre (western), and level of violence and that one plot point is kind of from that book except in the book wolverine killed the team and he did it while being tricked by spiderman villain mysterio. I like to think the ending of the movie is kind of hopeful because the children are going to be safe and they'll be the future for mutantkind.
I love you ladies.. You are all kind and sweet and have great taste in movies(: I've seen this one at least five times but I still cried a little just now watching the end with you all. I don't do good showing my true emotions around others, but I feel like being able to show them in this setting where I'm kinda like hanging out with the three of you, is a step in the right direction. Logan finally hold his heart
I was in tears at the end of this movie. When she called him daddy I broke and did not give a fuck. It was so freaking sad but I knew what to expect since it was based off old man Logan.
5:01. Hi! By the way! Parts of it were set in, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. "Remington Park" for one. But here in Oklahoma, we were disappointed that they did not use actual locations in our state. It was made in, New Mexico!

The reaction to the barn house scene was my exact reaction when first seeing the film. It’s like something straight out of a horror film. Mangold really didn’t want any fairy tales when making Logan.

In the comics Laura mostly appears as an older girl and a grown up and yeah, she has been The Wolverine in place of Logan at some points.

It's even worse when you realize that Logan might take place in the same continuity of days of Future past.

I've been waiting so long for this! So excited!
In the comics Mysterio manipulates Wolverine's mind to kill all the X-Men but in this movie Xavier's seizures is what killed everybody, he would have killed everyone at the casino too if not for Logan who is less effected by the incidents. Love the way they tied mutant powers and real life medical issues to come up with something as uncontrollable and unpredictable more so as a mutant. It's hard for me to imagine anyone else being Wolverine besides Jackman though, an extra depth of sadness to the character's death.
Glad they watched everything in order. They also released this in a black and white version called Noir but idk if it changes anything. I thought this movie was the best conclusion to a franchise possible. Not to mention this movie hits home in a lot of ways for me on a personal level. Thanks for taking my advice about the tissues haha.
