    Your garden things look great you sure do get some terrible storms but at least that sleat won’t harm your strawberries and will help them along. Stay strong Family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️👏👏👏🥰🤗

    When I was around 10, my grandfather would have me help him around his small 20 acre farm. This corn reminded me. He'd have ears of dried corn. We'd sit down and take out a row or two from the corn. Then we'd ring that corn around and drop all those kernels in a 5 gallon bucket. Then we'd walk over to a small hand machine bolted to his workbench on the end. He'd start to turn that wheel and have me drop in a scoop of corn, one at a time. That machine churned and broke that corn into small pieces. He'd use that for his chicken feed. I felt pretty good when we switched sides and I got to do the turning. You had to do it at a firm stead pace or the corn would clog up .But you just reversed and started again with that same firm churning. We would do enough 5 gallon buckets to fill up an old galvanized trash can with a lid so no mice or birds got into it.
    He had about a dozen chickens that laid brown eggs. White eggs were for city folks. I remember my grandmother measuring out some flour in a bowl. Then she'd add in salt and stir it around. Then she'd add in some eggs and butter. She'd form that dough like no tomorrow. She'd roll that out and make her own noodles. She'd make a ton of them. She'd cook some up and we'd have chicken noodles and mashed potatoes. She'd bag up the other noodles after they completely dried. I'm sure your parents and grandparents have stories to tell. You have a great family and friends that work well together and make each video enjoyable to watch. 33.1k viewer and growing. Let's see if we can tweet you out and get 50k before Christmas!

    Hey Logan those beets look amazing. We are going to finally get rain next week and it's going to cool down to 90, thank God. Make sure to drink lot's of water in that heat. I go through a gallon when working out in these temps of 106. Man enjoy that rain for sure. We are at 96 days without any rain. We will be planting our fall/winter garden in two weeks. God bless you and your family. 🤠

    Hi Logan, I have to say you have the best shaped large green peppers I have ever seen. Our IL farmer's market don't seem to have these large size to stuff with a tasty spiced hamburger/rice filling. I also am loving those beets. I sure enjoy your vids. TY. You and you Dad Logan are great at wearing masks when bagging dusty corn. LOL, Frank not so much :(

    Hi guys you are working so hard on any kind of weather,hope you all take some rest. All your harvest are awesome, hope it's ok if I suggest on that area where your putting corn on the bag ,have it cemented on both side put a cemented bench so both of you are seated and the bag is steady and will avoid having mud or dirt, I know your not bagging if it rain

    How did those freshly dug potatoes that were still laying out in the field come through that rain and hail?

    • @BroyansFarm
      @BroyansFarm  Před rokem

      Potatoes grow underneath the ground so they did not get touched. There plants did get hit a bit but not even to damage the growth under the ground. Thanks for watching 😃

    • @munchkin5674
      @munchkin5674 Před rokem

      @@BroyansFarm I am aware of where and how they grow. Didn’t we see in this video, starting at about 7:18, that your dad had harvested some of your potato crop with the harvester implement? We never saw that they had been picked up before rain came in. So I was just wondering how they did through the rain? Will this cause more chances of rot?
      As new potatoes also have pretty tender, thin skin, it was never our practice to wash new potatoes. Instead, lightly brush soil off them after they had dried some after harvesting. So seeing you wash new potatoes with your washing equipment, might make some of us curious how those thin skins held up? : )
