I saw The Who in 1975. Best performance I ever!!!!!
You're the best ! from Argentina. The Who ahead of their time!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is Rock n Roll.
So beautiful 🔥
The Beatles opened the door, the Rolling stones wedged it further into the harder side, then The Kinks, The Who and The Yardbirds together got the focus towards Blues, Prog and Hard Rock... thank goodness. Music to my ears- literally. Peace, Fay- I love to see you happy. Be safe.
Possibly the best rock band on the planet at that time.
Loved watching your reaction Beutiful soul
It is one of my favorite live who songs as is my generation and young man blues. This was the height of Who live. It has been my favorite rock band since 1972 so 50 years now. I think the text is self explanatory, Alltough I never smoked anything.
This performance kicks major azz like nobody’s business.
You are a rock and roll girl at heart! God bless ❤
Another great reaction, Young Lady :)
Greatest live rock band ever
You gotta love Pete, installs a new furnace and central air system and heads straight to the gig 😂
Wow! Now that was something! They closed out the show with this one. 14 February 1970 -- The Who recorded the concert and released select songs from it on a live album that became a classic: The Who Live at Leeds. I played my copy of it as a teenager so much I might have worn it out. Pete Townshend wrote "Magic Bus" in 1965. The Who recorded it in 1968 and released it as a single. The cover of their 1968 album, Magic Bus: The Who on Tour, pictured the band climbing around on a old London double-decker bus painted over with flowers of many different colors, psychedelic hippie style. I inherited a copy of it in the early eighties. The other choice track from it is "Pictures of Lily".
I had to buy several copies of Live at Leeds because I wore out every one I bought.
Looks like footage from the 1970 Isle of Wight music festival.
It is, but it almost is in synch, isn't it?
Taking the trip on the Magic Bus. pound for pound, one of the most talented British bands
of all time. More Who Please. 😎
My band back in the day. The lads were awesome in the studio and even better live.
I seen them at a all day concert in Anaheim California in 1976, they came on last and were incredible. Very, very loud!
Awesome album.
You have great musical taste! No one has ever reacted to this to my knowledge. Actually my favorite song by them. Was out in 1968. If you dig this type of music there's a ton of it in 68 and 69. To me 68, 69 and 70 were the greatest years for music. Keep up the good work! There's was Cream, The Doors, Credence Clearwater Revival then to mention a few.
This video was put together with clips, not actually the real deal, but the music sure is. I felt this time The Who were driving hard, about to peak. At the time 'Live at Leeds' was considered one of the greatest live performances ever if not the best.
Yes!!!!! Help blow this one up - greatest example of pure rock and roll - Bo Diddley Beat, brilliant drums, out of this world bass, great rock guitar, funny story, and…..Mr Daltry.
Thank you so much for reacting to this one!!!!!!
You are welcome and I am glad you Loved it
4am after 3 hours of the greatest show - and they did this. So glad to hear you say it feels good….that’s exactly it!!!!!
Great performance 💯
