The Beatles opened the door, the Rolling stones wedged it further into the harder side, then The Kinks, The Who and The Yardbirds together got the focus towards Blues, Prog and Hard Rock... thank goodness. Music to my ears- literally. Peace, Fay- I love to see you happy. Be safe.

It is one of my favorite live who songs as is my generation and young man blues. This was the height of Who live. It has been my favorite rock band since 1972 so 50 years now. I think the text is self explanatory, Alltough I never smoked anything.

Wow! Now that was something! They closed out the show with this one. 14 February 1970 -- The Who recorded the concert and released select songs from it on a live album that became a classic: The Who Live at Leeds. I played my copy of it as a teenager so much I might have worn it out. Pete Townshend wrote "Magic Bus" in 1965. The Who recorded it in 1968 and released it as a single. The cover of their 1968 album, Magic Bus: The Who on Tour, pictured the band climbing around on a old London double-decker bus painted over with flowers of many different colors, psychedelic hippie style. I inherited a copy of it in the early eighties. The other choice track from it is "Pictures of Lily".

You have great musical taste! No one has ever reacted to this to my knowledge. Actually my favorite song by them. Was out in 1968. If you dig this type of music there's a ton of it in 68 and 69. To me 68, 69 and 70 were the greatest years for music. Keep up the good work! There's was Cream, The Doors, Credence Clearwater Revival then to mention a few.

This video was put together with clips, not actually the real deal, but the music sure is. I felt this time The Who were driving hard, about to peak. At the time 'Live at Leeds' was considered one of the greatest live performances ever if not the best.
