Holy cannoli. I saw Brentalfloss ages ago at a Con in my hometown. Absolute legend and down to earth guy. We talked for a good 20 minutes about just random stuff. Buddy bought a CD and we were on our way. This brought back flashes of my early party days. Glad you are still doing you man.

I was once at a place that had both Coke and Pepsi in it's drink fountain, so naturally I mixed the two to make Forbidden Cola. it actually ended up tasting like RC.
We did have Pepsi 1893. Original cola flavor tasted like Jack and Coke so we kind of did have a Pepsi taste like Coke.

Here in the netherlands we have a supermarket called Jumbo. Their in-house cola has a marshmallow flavour that is always available. It's a very strong flavour. Might not be the best reason to come to the netherlands sometime, but it isn't a bad reason 🤷🏻♂️

Thank you so much for doing this, I didn't even know there was a drawing! And I really appreciate this coming from a person who actually likes marshmallows so you'll actually give this product a fair review. So many people don't like marshmallows, I don't get it, but I respect it. Now, I don't like Pepsi, but I will tolerate it if that's the only thing available, so I totally would have loved to have tried this, even though I figured it would be disappointing.

Honestly, the best Pepsi I've ever had was the Salted Caramel flavor. I don't know, I'm more of a Coke kind of person, my mom almost exclusively got Pepsi when I was a kid, so I don't like it as much now. However, something about that particular flavor really did it for me, I can't explain it.

If anyone has ever been to the andes there is a local variety made by coke called Inka Cola and its really really sweet.
Like government warning of diabetes over sugar concentration.
And it tastes like a bubblegum sprite.
Have you tried the Dr Pepper Cream Soda? I found it has a weirdly lucky charms marshmallow-y flavor so maybe that will hit the spot you’re looking for?
For some reason I thought it was going to basically taste like liquid marshmallow. It seems weird the taste is so subtle but a dark cola like Pepsi probably isn't ideal for something like marshmallow. I think that would have been better in a light cola like 7-Up.
I'm a Coke and not Pepsi person but if I had to mix Pepsi with something....maybe Oreo? Maybe something chocolaty or blueberry.

Anyway... yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the worst scenario that could have been if they wanted to sell it because, I'd imagine if it was this disgustingly strong taste of acacia gum-milded sugar AT LEAST people would love to see if they could endure it and thus, purchase it.

I found a couple bottles of the new version of it at my workplace, and... It's not terrible. A little sweeter than I'm used to in a Pepsi, but that's not a knock at all.

Didn’t know marshmallows were originally plant based. I gotta try marshmallow tea, or at least taste a marshmallow made from real marshmallow plant, for frame of reference, now. After doing a quick search, I stumbled upon this useful tidbit of information:
“Today's marshmallows, however, no longer contain any trace of the plant. In times of famine following crop failure in Syria, marshmallow root was a crucial source of food. In addition to the medicinal and nutritious properties of the marshmallow's roots, the flowers are also edible and can be eaten in salads.”

I did get excited when I 1st discovered ginger ale made with real bits of cut ginger & cane sugar on the bottom, a few years ago. A far cry from the HFCS versions taking up most of America’s shelf space, sipping the real stuff transported back to a different time.
Recently tried pine needle tea, & had an interesting herbal tea blend at an herbal tea cafe.
Herbalism rocks & is healing!! :)

Funnily enough the roots of an actual marshmallow plant taste a lot like the highly artificial soft blobs of sugar that we put in hot cocoa. Not as sweet (obviously), but the flavor is very recognizable.
