A shot from the left wing comes into the Burnley goal area and Adam Blacklaw jumps and collects safely though charged by Dave Hickson. He runs and kicks up field to set Burnley on the attack. LV. Burnley player shoots and Huddersfield goalkeeper Fearnley jumps and collects safely then clears up-field. CU. Children in crowd cheering. LV. Huddersfield take a free kick. Blacklaw jumps to collect the ball. He has a tussle with a Huddersfield forwards and then throws up-field. LV. Ball has only gone out to the Huddersfield right wing, and he is tackled by Albert Cheeseborough who kicks up-field to set Burnley going. CU. Man in crowd. LV. Huddersfield goal area, ball comes across and is headed by a Burnley forward, but Fearnley collects safely and throws up-field. CU. Man in crowd. LV. Burnley goal area, Simpson sends Millar flying in a tackle. CU. Woman in crowd. LV. Huddersfield taking a free kick from the left wing, ball is kicked into the Burnley goal mouth where Jimmy Adamson and Hickson jump for it. It goes loose, Bobby Seith is there to kick it out to the left wing. Left wing collects it, beats two Burnley men and centres. Ball comes across Burnley goal area where Hickson heads it into the goal. Huddersfield 1 - Burnley 0. GV. Cheering crowd. Half time. LV. Ball comes into the Burnley goal area, Blacklaw collects safely and clears up-field. LV. Huddersfield goal area, ball is passed to Cheeseborough who receives and shoots. Ball goes past the goalkeeper for the equaliser. GV. Cheering crowd. GV. Huddersfield trying to get it away, but it comes back towards the Huddersfield's goal. Burnley forward shoots but Fearnley dives and saves. He kicks up-field. CU. Boys in crowd. LV. Burnley goal area, ball comes across to goal, Blacklaw is beaten, ball hits the inside of the upright and bounces out to be cleared by Burnley defenders. CU. Man in crowd holding his head.
LV. Burnley goal area, ball comes across and is headed, but Blacklaw falls safely onto the ball. CU. Boy in crowd gets his hat knocked off. LV. Burnley on the attack coming down the right wing. Burnley man tricks a Huddersfield man, runs on and crosses ball into the Huddersfield goal area. CU. Man in crowd. GV. Huddersfield goal mouth, ball is in the net. Goal scored by Ian Lawson, pan to congratulating players. Burnley 2, Huddersfield 1. GV. Cheering crowd. LV. Burnley breaking through again. Burnley forward running with ball. Fearnley and a Huddersfield defender go for it, but the Burnley man beats them and he is left with the ball in front of him. The goalkeeper's gone and he runs on and shoots but misses. Final score Burnley 2, Huddersfield 1.
