Speaking of getting into trouble as a kid, I have nothing but good memories getting into trouble in middle and high school. I remember one time, the boys restroom was vandalized so severely, they closed the restroom for the rest of the year, and only left 1 open for the entire building, and it was the one near the front office. Had to walk hella far just to pee, especially when your class was at the back of the building on the 2nd floor.
It was common in my elementary school (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) for a teacher to attach a note to parents with a safety pin. That was the '50s, before the invention of the stapler?:) Great show, guys.

I am a teacher and I could never punish a kid for being a clown in the classroom. Support the child who's disturbing the class and you'll see their true sides and why they act like they do.
I'm only 26 but I'm from the southern US and I got whipped with a wooden paddle in elementary school for throwing scissors across the room. I deserved it lol, there's just some things that you don't do, and throwing sharp objects is one of them. If there was more ass-whooping in this country there would probably be less school shootings and I honestly believe that.
