  • A quick drive over the "Mightly Mac" , otherwise known as the Mackinac Bridge. The fare/toll for our truck/trailer combo (2 axles on the truck, and 2 on the trailer) came out to $8 USD in June 2023. The website says $5 per axle for motorhomes. And if you're towing a car behind that, it'll be charged at the auto rate of 2$ per axle.
The following information can be found on the Mackinac Bridge Authority website, www.mackinacbr...
The Mackinac Bridge is currently the fifth longest suspension bridge in the world. In 1998, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in Japan became the longest with a total suspension of 12,826 feet. The Mackinac Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the western hemisphere.

I love the bridge! Being from the lower peninsula and having friends in the U.P. I have been over the mighty mac many times! It's always a stunning view! Mackinac city used to have a 5k 10k road race and the next day you could run the bridge, I did that several times. My father in law and I got to go on top of the south bridge tower it was amazing! Over 700 feet above the water!
