  • As most of you know I purchased a new Hewes Redfisher 18 a few weeks ago, I have slowly been adding my own touch to the vessel like I normally do. One of the minute things I like to do is wrap the wheel for a little added grip and eye appeal. I do this with a simple hitch wrap, where I alternate going over and under the wheel to obtain a nice tight pattern. I finish the wrap but cutting the para-cord close and using a lighter to heat up the end, I then press the warm para-cord into each other sealing it off. Finally, just spray the cord with Scotch Guard repellent to help keep the cord clean and fresh. I created this tutorial a while ago and it has received quite a few reviews but I figured I would do another one with better visual and audio. Hello Joshua and Happy New Year. Thanks for the video, nice job. I think I'll try it on my car. Can't hurt and looks great. Also in the snow it would be nice to have a firm grip o the wheel.

You could wrap your vehicle steering wheel. Should work just fine.
