Man killed in shooting at Marion County middle school

One person was killed in a shooting at a middle school in Marion County on Wednesday evening, according to a news release.
Officials with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office posted on social media around 6:53 p.m. that they were on the scene at North Marion Middle School located at 2085 West Highway 329 in Citra following the shooting.

This breaks my heart, he was my 1st Nephew...This guy is just an animal!! My niece and Nephew was right there, when he GOT SHOT 7X!!! This animal got on top of him and started punching hom in his face while laughing!!! He died with my niece hand in his hand!! He ruined my family FOREVER!!!😢

Could you imagine that child’s breaking heart. When a child is graduating, looking into the crowed for their parent but leaves the ceremony to hear that news. So heart breaking that the world has come to this. Praying for all involved

He was my moms best friend and to think an animal like this would kill his step children’s father in front of their eyes is so horrible and sickening it’s like this man that died had a long life to live I’ve known him for years and to think something like this would happen he was always happy and cared about his kids I prayed while he was in the hospital I hope the mad that killed him will spend a long and guilty life in jail

The shooter is a idiot and a disgusting man to murder that man and he knew that was them 3 kids dad and if the dad and mother had a dispute about their kids he should stay out of it and why did he have to use a gun on that man and if u get into a relationship with a woman who has kids from a man and u having to many issues from the kids father to the point where violence can occur u need to find a woman with a deadbeat daddy that's not around or one who got a baby daddy in prison.
