  • Some time ago my DBforgoods channel was deleted for violating copyright. As most of the videos had no problems, I decided to repost some that I haven't seen around. Many of them were extracted from episodes of the Old Grey Whistle Test, posted by a You Tube channel that unfortunately no longer exists. My gratitude to the person who made these historical archives available.

This may well be the most underrated band of the ‘70s, given the sheer musicianship of these guys. Their live version of So Many Roads in Central Park still knocks me out.

Hi. Is it better than Album FM Live at the NY Music Academy? I'd love to hear that. Do you know if there is a bootleg of this concert in Central Park?

Love the 72 Veleno flying bird guitars I’ve wanted 1 since 73 when I saw these guys.

RIP Peter Haycock one of the best bottleneck and all around blues guitarist! He should be much more popular among blues guitarists.

Just come across this video. I got the single Couldn't get it right when it came out in 1976. Last week came across the group again. Its a different line up & got new material out, but just as good.

Hi, I didn't understand. CBB without Colin Cooper, Peter Haycock, Derek Holt, John Cuffley, George Ne.... are there any original members in this Climax Blues Band?

@@davidpenn6133 Well, the lead singers were guitarist Pete Haycock and saxophonist Colin Cooper. Are there any original members in this lineup? If it doesn't, it's not the Climax Blues Band.

GREAT performance. Now where is the rest of that set???

I liked their phase but I thought this presentation was a waste. Seventh Son, ok but Flight could have been exchanged for two others. I'd love to see Standing by a river...I confess it's my favorite song by them. Or others like Rich Man, All the time in the World, Goin to New York...So many roads...

I agree with Standing By A River but I’m just glad to finally see what the FM Live tour was like. Such a classic Live Record.

@@ricknorris1466 Yes, it's a great album, but I still think “Flight” is a bad choice for DK Rock Concert.

i seagully saw them, paired with cheap trick of all bands, around the time of their 'shine on' album.
the concerto had a level high level of keenity.
