Thanks, POPS! Great video, & overview.. We have been fortunate to, visit The Tidal Basin( & SOME OF WASHINGTON DC ) several,times ( my first trip was Spring 1965 , with High School,”Senior Trip”)…etc..

I especially love the fac that Ms. Skidmore persisted for so many years and it finally paid off! Just goes to show that if you have a passion for something, don't give up!

I hope next year we can go to DC to see the cherry blossoms. They are gorgeous! We have studied Josh's Blue Ridge Parkway videos and are going to make that trip in October! We sure enjoy your videos. So fun!
Unfortunately I heard Old Stumpy is being removed. I'm glad you included it in this video. The cherry blossoms are stunning to see. I haven't seen them in person before.
