I've never been a massive Macklemore fan, but those live gigs makes me enjoy him so much more. He has such a true joyful energy and his voice sounds so much better live than on records!

Macklemore is one of the few current rappers that can actually perform his songs live. Everyone else says a few words while their tracks play in the background. He is a master with lyrics, branding, and collaborations. He makes an impact with every single song. I can’t wait to see him in a few weeks in San Diego!!

Only just found this recording coz was looking online, feeling sad that I missed Mack doing Australia tour, what an artist. And this is sooooo truly amazeballs and with the other artists, it just ramps each song right up, but especially CHANT, Tones just killed it, I had to turn it up! So so moving, I will have to listen to this again and again and share with friends! Can't wait to see Tones and I in September! Powerful.

I am to (boasting yes) but it's important that we stay together. We have the rooms. And to anyone else who is struggling with addiction please get to a A/A or N/A room. There are other rooms including cocaine I think and marijuana. Get help in those rooms today. There's support in there.

Macklemore got me through my first year in college in 2012. I know it makes no sense, but it really did. I would listen to his tracks every single day.

I love this group. I must say, even after all the success, I still hear the frantic need of acceptance in his words and music. Still trying to prove something to somebody from a place of NEED, and insecurity. These are powerful drivers, lots of anger, angst, and acute witness to suffering. Whoa! Amazing and powerful. Listening makes me want to wish MORE healing (I already wish that on a daily....). And, that's a grand wish! Still hollering at us!!! Yessss!

So pumped that I get to see Macklemore perform this Saturday night in Denver at formal fundraising gala of all places. As my girlfriend and I have been figuring out what to wear all we keep asking ourselves is, "Would Macklemore approve?" Move over white hairs, the dance floor is ours!
Macklemore you have the ability to pump up an entire room I've seen you in past gigs or nobody wanted to get into it and it made me mad Don't ever underestimate yourself and the fact of bringing a room up those are some powerful singers you've got along with you there just awesome talent here and great energy I can feel it just listening to you
