I think it's a "foreshadowing" in that her entire career was planned to be what it is today- she was supposed to be a tragic story of a pop princess that goes insane. The whole thing is a publicity stunt to establish her brand, mimicing Marylin Monroe. Does anyone understand why Monroe is/was so famous? It's not like she was that good. Fame is all marketing. Plus this is like the female version of MJ's "Who is It" video, since she's a high priced call girl who marries a rich guy, when she was just using him for his wealthy horn dog connections.

what amazes me about britney is how effortlessly she's able to completely embody the 'feel' of every song - whether it's sexy, sensuous, sweet, bold, strong, energetic, sad or dark and creepy - Britney emanates those emotions from every pore - her eyes, her face, her body, the way she looks at the camera, the way she mouths the words - I don't know any other artist who can do this so convincingly in every video.
