Viper is absolutely gorgeous. Love the simple and clean look of the perch. It works perfectly when you have such a strikingly beautiful bird to pair it with.

That fall was quite spectacular. I like the Lisa & Viper cameo, too. 😀

Having had one, that perch would fall over from a hard launch or when the bird is bating, but you probably realized that. Lol 😆 My hawk pulled over saw horses on the créance from time to time! You need a much bigger footprint or some weights.

Definitely just a training perch, and since the bird is clipped into that perch and a bow perch, if it falls, they are still safely tethered to the creance line. :) Nick has already designed a new perch since this video, as your suggestions, with a bigger "foot". :)

Ouch, that saw would have hurt if it landed on you. Glad you left it in, it adds a bit humour, and makes you seem human, there is a place for professionalism, but humour is good too.

haha oh god such luck with that fall in the snow and having the saw land perfectly not to get damage to it or yourself XD. God snow is so odd to me XD I've never seen it where I live in australia, I don't even get why or how salt makes snow safe lol.
Wow the perch came up amazing and also cool to know a bit of info on falkery too. Would your wife maybe do a full video at one point on it all, as I'd love to watch something like that, as yeah over here we don't have it.

Snow, you aren't missing much. It's cold, then wet, and slippery. It's pretty for like 8.4 seconds, and then you're over it, bring back summer please! - Salt lowers the freezing point of ice, causing it to melt faster. You can try it at home, pouring some table salt on an ice cube, lol. It's a prey awful solution for snow removal however, I mean it works well, but the side-effects really aren't worth it. Only about a third of the States use it. It gets everywhere, and absolutely destroys our vehicles. -- Doing dedicated falconry episode is definitely a possibility :)
