Audi S3 EQT Vortex XL Turbo Install Part 1 | LPFP, MPI & Injectors

Hey guys were super stoked to be able to install the EQT Vortex XL on our 2016 Audi S3, and in today's video we install the EQT Brushless LPFP, the Precision Raceworks MPI kit/injectors, and of course the Euro Intake Manifold! This is part 1 of the series and the next video will be the install of the turbo itself so stay tuned for that.

Appreciate it! And yessir big turbos are the only way to go 🤣 but yeah it’s def sick that it’s already setup for E. Just gotta get that tune file and the gas and it’s ready to go!

So it is possible to install injectors + rail onto the manifold before install? i was told i wouldn't be able to make it fit that way.

Great video, I unfortunately didn’t have the $ to do the fueling upgrade, went with an hpfp and wmi, if I had to do it again I still wouldn’t have the money for fueling, but going mpi and E85 is the way. 👍🏻

You really don’t need to pull the charge pipe or that bracket to pull the manifold. Just loosen the triple square on the bottom and the 13mm on the top, then once the manifold bolts have been removed just un screw the rubber bushing from the manifold. Saves a lot of time if you have no other reason to pull the charge pipe.

Was the upgrade from stage 2 to hybrid mpi as noticeable as going from stock to stage 2? I’m hoping to go vortex soon, but want to wait for eqt flex fuel.

Yeah definitely a huge jump in performance and feel. The turbo lags a little bit more but once it builds up it’s freaking fast!

Will the additional 4 injectors work on a stock map or does it need to be tuned? For the sake off running it as a dont have to ever carbon clean again setup? Thanks for the great vid explaining the process

The 4 injectors require a tune, and it should in theory limit the carbon buildup, but I'm sure it'll need to be cleaned regularly. And thank you!

i pulled my cover off and noticed that I already have he additional fuel rail. Its maybe needed here in south africa tto inject ttthe addittional fuel due to heat to prevent detonation? Thr enigine is a 7r cjxb, stock pushing out 206KW

Clutch is holding up good yeah it's still the stock clutch!

Where is the link to the written instructions? Trying to do this rn, manifold is in and everything is done up until the point of wiring. Y'all skipped over that part in the video and I can't find where the pins go in the harness. Please and thank you

Sorry Austin said there will be written instructions but EQT doesn't supply them. You'd have to go on forums or AllData or another program possibly to obtain the written instructions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
