On-ride and off-ride video of Professor Screamore's Skywinder, the rethemed Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster formerly known as Mind Eraser, at Six Flags America. Story: www.themeparkinsider.com/flum...
Still looks so rough! Their heads are banging all over the place. New trains and paint only do so much. But I'll have to judge for myself when I ride later this summer.
Seems to have more of a wooden coaster-like jank to it, not a painful roughness - Great Nor'Easter and Riddler's Revenge have similar experiences, though are likely better coasters.
@@lightningboatnoreaster was a complete refurbishment. This is new restraints with a couple reprofiled track pieces. It's not smooth at all but at least there is no head banging anymore.
I wonder if this is a sign that Six Flags will start making the same changes on this ride to all remaining SLCs in the chain, including the recently aquired ones from Cedar Fair.

At six flags Darien Lake this year mind Eraser is closed. It had a signout of it saying they would be adding new trains to the ride in 2025.
