I just built my first MS660 clone kit. I'm now addicted to chainsaw stuff now. I barely even cut wood. I just like firing them up and swinging them around full open.
A 272xp coils fits and is unlimited. You can still get oem ones from husky. If you do that I would drill the high jet out one size larger. I just ported 2 new 3120s and they has a regular rod not the open one like an 084 stihl
if you want a Guinness book of records chain speed performance drop a mothball in your tank... jetfuel bro... you will notice a significant improvement just before it explodes.

Just put an aftermarket 272 coil on mine and ported the muffler and it made a huge difference. Not going to run it much until the #56 drill bit comes in to size up the main jet. Porting will come but dang I need one of these pipes!

That hits the rev limiter so fast. Almost seems just as fast as the 500i

Nothing like a sharp chain and plenty of oil to it, that's the biggest thing imo.
Gotta have one of those.. also have you came any further on the 562xp pipe?
Just finished the dyno this last week. Now we can start perfecting these pipes for stock and modified saws.

Your teeth are filed unevenly. That will eliminate the chatter while cutting.
