Would like to see what those 165 grain would do at .44 magnum velocity . I’m going to look for those and load some up i used to load some 180 gr hp and they were good on jack rabbits and coyotes . That was some disappointing performance 900 to a 1000 fps is where it’s at
I appreciate the info on ballistic performance of 44 spl out of a 3 inch barrel. Haven’t see that tested anywhere else.
The federal punch 44 special that came out like a year or 2 ago is a really good one.

Have you tried a Buffalo Bore 44spl “anti personnel” load that they clain pushes a 200gr wadcutter at 1000fps?
No, I haven't. I'm mostly seeing what various hollow point loads do.
