- Euphoria's "Trouble Don't Last Always" isn't a dramatic, action packed episode, but instead a serious discussion between Rue and Ali about addiction and it's hold, and how to overcome it.
Its one of my favourite episodes of Euphoria, and the one I consider the most important because of its real life applications, and the acting dynamic between Zendaya and Colman Domingo is electric and fantastic to watch.

OMG yes this is my favourite episode to date. Like I also really enjoy the action packed episodes but just an hour long conversation could not be more engaging. I just find that it sucks that it wouldn't have worked as a main episode of either season but then because its a special many haven't seen it that that's truly sad. Not much for me to say that you haven't already but excellent video and loving watching your video essays evolve!
Totally agree! I get why it doesn't really fit in the seasons but its such a good episode and a shame for those people who missed it considering its also my favourite. Just such great acting at work between the two of them
You did a great job covering this topic. I really appreciated the section about finding something to have faith in. I have felt similarly to Rue, not being able to believe in a higher power, but your take on faith was refreshing to hear and meant a lot. I think its going to stick with me.
