- 5 year plan on upgrading central AC equipment. Year 3: 2nd Bosch IDS 2.0 Central AC system equipment replacement PLUS an apology to Peter - watch until the end! You won’t be disappointed!
Keep pumping up Peter Pan. He needs a hug too. DanielSon deserves a big raise on his 1st anniversary. He’s doing a fantastic job. And of course, so is the other Mike that keeps churning out the work every day quietly.
Peter is an asset, good onya for apologizing and making it up to him. Blue collar trades can be rough around the edges and we all have to apologize and hug it out every now and again.
Peter is a good soldier…….He took it in stride. I didn’t think it bothered him!
Kinda was a funny picture, though………sometimes we put ourselves in a position to be set-up😂
A good team comes from a good leader i think your a little rough sometimes but you take the time to teach the. and it shows your a professional and a asset to the trade
So beautiful inside and out ! Love you !!!
You're a good man, Mikey!
We love Peter!
Glad you made it right with your guy it’s hard to be funny 😆 sometimes
You are the reason, I am smiling today
Agree 150%. I used to be field supervisor for Warner Cable Tv. Worked 7 days a week, 100 hours a week. I loved my job! When I hired new techs I used to always tell them if you can't come to work and have fun and enjoy yourself, I don't need you. I had the best techs in the company! I loved my guys and miss them everyday!!
for all people of peace and love
This video is gift for making people comfortable
R11 was the best system flush ever! Too bad its no longer allowed!
It’s a new hilmor tool. Very nice
"Embrace the technology " never heard of the wiper but in theory sounds like it will help scrub the gunk out with a solvent. If its not to expensive of course.
Way to go Mike! Great to see you take care of your guys!
You're a great boss Mikey Pipes. Nothing wrong with a little "in the field" banter. Younger generation need to learn to not take every little comment or tough situation to heart. Just makes you a stronger individual in the long run. Great Job Peter Pan and keep up the excellent work to everyone. God Bless
Never used the wiper. I've always used the pro flush kit with denatured alcohol. It's a ton cheaper cleans great and evaporates quickly.
Hats Off To You
We have the hilmor swiper. It’s awesome
Pipe whipper works awesome we have used it the last three years sometimes ill send it through the liquid line twice
You Made Me Smile
Love Bosch!!! Testo is coming out with the new 560i refrigerant scale with intelligent valve. You should get it. It can charge your system to subcooling or superheat or just weight and after you select which method you want you literally don’t have to do anything.
If the compressor works, just reclaim to the condenser. Save time. And reclaim it back at the shop into the r22 reclaim recycle tank. Not the junker tank. Granted the recycler would benefit. But if you have a set tank for 410a, r22 recycling. It pays for itself in the long run. Never heard of a wiper. I always replace my line sets. Especially switching from 22 to 410.
Check out the hilmor lineset swiper. It’s awesome
Absolutely the top video of today
Thanks lovely video!!
Only thing I would do differently is not take off the micron gauge before dumping the charge. I leave it on then after I have positive pressure take it off and shut it off the gauge put alcohol drops in the gauge shake it up and then shake out the alcohol toss it on your vacuum pump and then let it rip for 10 minutes and it’s good to go no issues with the gauge and still reads accurate after 2 years. Been installing Bosch since the og with the Mitsubishi compressor love Bosch.
I’ve heard of that line set flushing tool but never have used it, supposed to be pretty good tho, I believe it’s made by hilmor and called a “pig” not sure but that’s what Bryan Orr calls them anyways, very good technician in the trade!!
I've always heard of those pipe cleaning things referred to as pigs as well, regardless of what type of system they're in.
Danielle needs to start twirling his stash.
Nice clean install.
A little hazing is a building trades ritual. Its probably the best thing for these young kids nowadays because their parents pamper the shit out of them and they need to be taught that life is tuff and not everyone is going to be nice to them. And they need to learn to take in stride and laugh about it. Its called ball breakin!
That’s a pretty smart plan to get especially when you have that many systems.
Tru Blu is the only company that has 3/4" hoses I change my orings every season.make sure you check your micron gauge make sure it's off. Hold the power button down and see if the screen comes up good or soon that will tell you it needs to be calibrated . You would need to put it in the freezer follow directions in the manual
I fully agree with you Mikey.
You have to love what you doing.
Have a nice weekend.
I consider myself extremely lucky. I have a strange fascination with vacuum cleaners, and I collect them, there are actually quite a few of us who do, if you can believe it... But my favorite type of vacuum has always been a central vac system. They're just so different from the portable type. I'm lucky because you can actually make money both installing and repairing these things, and I actually love doing it. To me its easy, and actually fun to do. I basically get paid to do something that I would happily do in my spare time just for the fun of it!
If you're looking into the wiper you also have to check out the hilmor linset cleaning tool. They're both similar but I think the hilmor has the slight edge.
How are You Dear Awesome Stuff
City Home Comfort loves Bosch
Love from My heart
The pipe wiper is the shit! Beats using pro flush and making a mess, grab a couple pigs and blast away!!! Just make sure to ream out the pipe at the end. Hilmor is coming out with one
Nice clean job . I'm surprised peter pan hasn't Will Smith you yet lol .Peter is a good kid I can tell.
I tried out that flush tool at the AHR show in Vegas this year it’s cool and I think it would definitely work better to remove contamination from the line that just the solution as it squeejes the pipe and pushing stuff out
Wow love this... Great
Love Bosch so much I bought Bosch wipers for my car.
Love to see all that Bosch!! Another awesome installation brought to you by Mikey Pipes, Danielson and PeterPan. Nice to see the guys wearing their Bosch gloves !
Mike You Truly Have A Big Heart
Majestic stash
Love Bosch...
Wow this is amazing
Gorgeous swty
Great video brother, I’m sure Peter Pan was happy.
Mike you’re a great boss and Peter Pan seems like he’s a good kid. Just a little rattled when the camera is on him. Is Peter Pan thinking that this might be a career for him?
Have had so so bosses in my career the best ones might be a little rough but teach there guys and respect them and do some funny stuff and apologize when needed hey we are only human, you have my respect Mike 🙏
Yessss! This is Nice!
I tell everyone how amazing you are
Hilmor makes the tool for cleaning lines. Part number HLC 007. The sponge thing I think is called the pig. Its reusable from what i read. One more thing I rarely replace line sets, just clean them out with nitrogen. Now don`t get me wrong if there are serious issues I will repipe. I read more than once that flush stuff can cause issues. The Hilmor tool I would use.
Beautiful install
The wiper… an enema for your line set, coming to a supply house near you.
Amazing
Shabbat Shalom Mike!
Love bosch!
Saint Mike owns his mistakes! Love Bosch!!
If Peter thought that was bad he may have a tough time in the trades 😂
Love Bosh
Great videos, but no crimp-master-pro joinery for my house..... thread the pipe like a plumber!
Embracing technology is fine for YOUR house, but what if crimped joinery from those lil o rings drying up result in failures; I envision another PVC or aluminum wire fiasco. ALA NAVIEN ?
OR, Crimpies may turn out to be the best advance in joinery ever. Who knows?
I spoke to multiple plumber clients for their opinion. Most are guardedly optimistic on crimped copper joints for domestic water, but they were a bit leery on steam and gas. Could be we are all a bunch of ole fart'es. Domestic potable water lines, without the soldering contamination that has been shown to cause turbulence, and deterioration near the joint is a plus.
My house, my pipes !
Your message on loving what you do is essential to mental health. If you don't have passion in your work, your soul dies for 8 hours each day..... Work should be mostly fun.
Love Bryant Extreme lol
Good job Mike, 👏...
Gotta love high quality German built equipment !
Hey Mikey Pipes- Did you see the new Veto wheeled bag thats coming out? They should sponsor your channel IMO. I have about four of their bags already but this one is pushing $500 and I might have to pass since im not in the field and wouldnt get daily use out of it. But check it out. Its very nice
Love Bosch Saint Mike commands thy
Mr Pipes. I have noticed a slight issues with #LoveBosch campaign. I have noticed that your not using Bosch tools yet! There seems to be a sea of red, instead of blue! 👍😎
Stoppppp itttttt. This is hot fire FUUUULLLLAAAMMMEEESSS!!!
Love bosch
The pipe swiper is a fantastic tool I believe the gentleman down south somewhere invented it and then I'm not sure he may have sold the rights to it or there's other copycats but yeah it is a fantastic tool
Next it's great that you made it right with your employee yes in our trade we all joke around and it can't get quite raunchy sometimes when it's done and stride and not done in a hurtful manner I worked for a lamp lighting narcissistic employer was very hard to feel like going to work in a much better place now
Push the trade lifestyle !
That’s big of u Mikey too apologies even though u wear 1/2 pound of gold bigcatmatt
I've heard about the wiper; seen video on it don't know if its works with 90 degree elbows?
You are literally god
Love Bosch.
Life is to short to be miserable.
Thanks again for the videos!

#lovebosch
Mikey wish is better blue hose or buy a regular large side hose wish is cheaper than the blue hose
Oh my GOD
I’d hate to try and get a stuck wiper out/removed.
500 psi of nitrogen will get it.
Hey Mikey, what are your thoughts on the Iwave R?
GOD BLESS.....
Wow, 5 AC systems ? My home only has one. I may need a bigger house!
