- Take a POV (point of view) ride on the Jurassic Park River Adventure ride at Islands of Adventure at the Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida.
In this video we experience the queue, the ride from the front row, and the gift shop after the ride. I start filming the gift shop from outside of the main entrance, not the entrance in the back where the ride exit is located.

Funny story about this ride. My sister didn't know that it was a drop ride. She was convinced that it was just a fun tour of dinosaurs, and began freaking out when we "got off course". The funniest moment was before the drop when the T-rex came out. I've never heard a 5'1" 19 year old girl scream so loud before.

I freaking loved this ride as a kid when I was 8 and 9 years old. We got the opportunity to go to Universal twice in 2002 and 2003. I wasn't scared of the dinosaurs at all (except for that ear-piercing shriek from the Dilophosaurus which only made me jump a little), and I wanted to just keep going and going and going despite my little brother's fear of all the raptors and the T-rex that were on the ride. I can still remember that moment when the raptor at the top of the ride jumping from the inside of that console center and having me thinking, "Wow, that looked so real".
If they shut down this ride like they did with Jaws, then I am never returning to the Universal Orlando resort, ever again.

Amazing ride! Went to Orlando in July 2012 and managed to pretty much walk on this and Dudley-Do Rights! I think it's cos everyone was at the Wizard World of Harry Potter!

I was still really skinny and small last time I rode, and I thought that if I let go of the bar, I would go flying out and the T. rex would eat me!
t0astwaffle plays games I was so scared the first time I rode this because like you I thought the Trex was real and would eat us all. Despite being scared the first time, I have grown to love this ride!
I first went on this when I was like 8 the ride was breaking down when we were about to go to the raptor part so I thought the raptors ate the people that controlled the ride I was sooooo scared.
I would shit my pants if that happened to me.

When I went on this,we went down the drop(I was closing my eyes) and I opened my eyes and I was so ready for water and get soaked but when I opened my eyes,the water splashed me in the eye and I closed my eyes again.

I remember going on this ride when I was 8 and I was scared of heights, roller coasters, etc. My mom said we were going on this ride and said there were no drops so I was excited. And I had gotten my face painted before we had gone on the ride btw. So when we were going up I knew there was going to be a drop do I closed my eyes and cried. The drop was huge. After we got off the ride my face paint was all over my face and I was crying. Good times. I never knew there was a t-Rex because I had been crying.
I remember going when I was 5, the lights used to be almost all out so you couldn't see the dinosaurs until they were actually displayed last minute, that goes for the T-Rex at the end, you never saw that until actually going down the drop.
I've been on this ride before and of course it's not real it's a ride, luv this ride and was so scared the first time but I luv it now ;)

Omg this video was uploaded in the summer when you would think there would be lots of people there and massive queues on the rides. But you seem to get straight on. Is it really that empty un summer? And BTW, awesome ride.
Ikr I went in November and barely anyone at Jurassic park ride. They were all at harry potter. Had to wait in 2 hour line :/ but it was worth it. Also I got picked for the wand thing at olvsanders wand shop.

they should add a new ride based on the new movie where you go in jeeps and you go through the woods and eventually u get the the indominous rex holding area. It's open and then it attacks you and bad stuff happens. Did you know that they used a read t rex in the ride?
